I just learned how to do micromacreme and I needed a book to act as a companion. It’s okay. I found the photos rather dark and it has a big error on of the pages. I reckon it was supposed to be a close up of a knot but came out a big blur. I’m also upset that the only “chain” is a basic 3 strand braid.It’s alright. Aesthetically it’s very appealing....that’s the graphic designer in me.

Very nicely done. I really like this book and have already made some items. The full color pics are very nicely done and very precise. I had no problem catching up with the knots. I used to macrame a long time ago, back in the 70's, I made large macrame items planters, plant hangers, wall hangings and so on so delving into jewelry is a challenge especially at a time when my eye site is not so good as it used to be. Very easy to follow instructions.

The book has beautiful photos, but some steps not explained very well. Only tried one project so far. I was so excited to get this and started a project but the instructions were not working for me. I started over again so many times I had to throw the thread away and start from scratch. Finally went on the web to find a video to follow. Still didn't end up with a good product.

Love this book. The projects are distinctive and well documented. I usually make one or two projects from most of the references I purchase. However, I'm well on the way to making all the projects contained in the book--and learning new techniques along the way.

I find this book difficult to effectively follow. I'm not sure how hard macrame is on the all and all but this book doesn't make it any easier.On the positive side, there are lots of pretty pictures and lots of project ideas.I think, though, this book is not for beginners, but definitely those with prior macrame experience.

The book has detailed instructions with color pictures. Easy to follow to make various necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Many of the techniques covered can be used to design your own creations. I will be using this manual on knotted jewelry for reference for years to come.

I'm going to have to study this awhile. It seems complicated when you read the instructions, but I'm sure that if you had the actual cords in your hands you just might be able to make something. It's very comprehensive and well written.

Love this book! The instructions are clearly written. Also the patterns are interesting to make. Each pattern is rated according to the difficulty level. There is something for everyone in this book.

I was unfortunately really disappointed with this book. The designs are great and I was very excited about trying some of them but they all seem to involve a technique that requires you to use polyester thread in order that you can melt the ends to finish and seal the design, I only want to use natural fibres and without a lot of knowledge that I don’t have yet that would be required to alter the designs and find another way to achieve the finished look, if in indeed that is even possible, it seems that this book doesn’t allow me to make anything!!

Decent book, as a beginner I found some instructions confusing but I worked it out in the end. Most projects need beads so get thin enough thread :). Overall there are some beautiful designs in here to try!

Brilliant book, beautiful step by step instructions with photographs. Many projects for different skill sets. Basic knowledge of macramé would make it easier to get the hang of quicker.Saw a review saying no good if you wanted to use just natural cords, due to the cut and burn method. I read in the book a basic knot and a dab of glue would solve this problem. So happy to experiment with both synthetic and natural cords.I was in two minds after reading a few mixed reviews, but I wish I brought this book sooner!Earrings above was my first go and took no more than 15 minutes! 😁😁😁
