How is the tile installed? with the metal insert open or closed?

Dear customer, The package will come with some plastic holders and you need to use these holders to put the grate on the drain channel. Then you put the tile on it. You can email us and we will send some photos to you for reference. Thanks.

Just received item and no instructions how to install center drain cover. several plastic clips and no directions. Any help here?

Plastic clips go in snap onto drain insert (either way) and hold insert up from drain bottom. Use some force

What do i need to finish this in? what is recommended to connect this to the pvc drain pipe
