Crocodile Creek Dance Drinking Bottle

I bought this for my 3 year old to take to school because I started to wonder if the juice boxes (even though they contain organic juice) are safe. There have been recent reports of high levels of lead in juices (organic and not) and who knows if the liners used in juice boxes and pouches are safe either. Also, by using this bottle, I am able to water down my 3 year old's juice which I cannot when sending her to school with a juice box. We have a BPA plastic bottle that we alternate in her lunch box but this bottle is much cuter and fits better in her average sized Crocodile Creek lunch box. I also like how it has a twist off cover with mouth piece pout that closes easily and does not leak, AS WELL AS, a second cap that covers the mouth spout so it keeps the spout from touch something dirty and keeps from leaks just in case my child does not remember to push down the spout all the way before putting back in her lunch box. I am a little disappointed with the fact that the spout top is not that easy to clean. Also the plastic connector from the outer cap shows wear even though it was straight out of the box brand new. At first I thought I just got a bad one that was damaged in shipping but when I saw these bottles a few weeks later in the health food store, all the bottles had the same wear spot. I also dropped the bottle on the asphalt from about 4 feet above the ground when checking her lunchbox, the bottle did not get dented and the paint was not scratched at all! All in all I think it is a great bottle, just wish it were easier to clean. Crocodile Creek is a great company and trust their word that it is stainless steel and safe for our kids to use. I also tried the drinking water that had been sitting in this bottle all day in the hot southern CA summer sun and it did not have any metal taste and tasted like it would if it has just come from a glass.

I like this product as it is stainless steel, looks cute (got the ballerina one) and does not leak.As some other reviewers pointed out the plastic cap finish is not good; looks as though it could break with time (the finish is not good). Does not have a strap to carry so parents have to carry this water bottle. Not sure my toddler likes this product as much as the disney princess thermos!

Listen to the other posters.... the design scratches right off. It's terrible, and Crocodile Creek should NOT be ok with this quality. For the price they charge for these bottles... It's shameful. I have a couple of similar enameled bottles from Walmart, of all places, and they don't scratch at all--and are 1/4 the price.We actually have a another Crocodile Creek water bottle with a different design. We have had that one for a couple of years now, and it's fine. It gets moderate use, goes on camping trips, etc. But THIS one??? Shameful. I don't even know HOW it gets scratched. I hand wash it, my daughter doesn't carry it around with her. It pretty much just hangs out on the picnic table. Doesn't come close to the use the other one gets. If you are buying it for the pretty design, keep looking. It will look old and worn within a week.

We bought one of these bottles for my 3 year old and she loves it. It does not leak and the colors are beautiful. She has been using it for almost two years now and it looks like new. We hand wash it every time. My daughter is able to open and close the spout without any trouble. We like it so much we bought 2 more for a friend that has twins.

The top of the water bottle is designed in such a way that it can be difficult for children to drink out of. When they press down their lips to drink, the top accidentally closes and the water flow slows or stops. Though these water bottles are cute, I would NOT buy them again.

cute design, durable exterior, but when you drink from it, the water doesn't just come out the pour spout, but around it as well, causing you to dribble some on your face. It's a great idea, but not well executed for a drinking bottle

I carry a drink for my 3 year old daughter everywhere, and I got tired of having leaky sippy cups. Since she is too big for a sippy cup anyway, I got this for her. She absolutely loves it and can easily open and close it independently. I love how it's odor-free and it's SO easy to clean, especially when a piece of food gets stuck in the or around the spout (with a small right brush). And I can just stick in my bag and not worry about it leaking!!!

This water bottle is well made, and much sturdier than the BPA-free plastic ones we tried before. I love that you can flip the top closed to keep the mouth of the bottle clean. My younger baby (almost 2) can open and close this herself, which is great. The bottles do dent when dropped hard, but my girls can be rough on their things -- a gentler child might not have the same result. Oh, and this bottle is very pretty -- my daughters love looking at all of the dancers.

My daughter loved the ballerinas and the color. So I purchased it despite the reviews about the lid being tricky. My daughter, nearly four and with somehwat advanced dexterity due to her brother's legos, was too frustrated with the lid. She also disliked that it was shorter than all the other water bottles in her class. I considered removing the lid, just exposing the closeable nozzle, but we saw an Aladdin AVEO Water Bottle 350ml from a nearly store and she absolutely loves using that one instead. I would not recommend this one for a young child.

This bottle leaks! its messy and makes a horrible sucking sound when you drink through the spout, a bad design

It looks nice. However it is badly designed. You have to pull up the spout rather than being a flip lid. Therefore not a good idea for little children with grubby hands. The lid doesn't really closed properly and flips open. If you are in hurry this isn't for you. It it tricky to get the spout to screw on straight and therefore leaks!

Je suis un peu déçue à l'usage par cette gourde. En effet, si les dessins sont bien faits et les couleurs très jolies, ces derniers s'altèrent rapidement à l'usage. Le moindre choc entraîne un enfoncement de la gourde et un effacement de la couleur. De même des rayures apparaissent assez vite à l’intérieur malgré toutes les précautions de lavage que je prends.Bref, l'aspect est sympa mais, au regard du prix et de la description du produit faite par le fabriquant, on attend une meilleure qualité. Le produit est par ailleurs trop fragile pour des enfants à qui il est pourtant destiné.

Oggetto ben realizzato e accattivante, a volte la chiusura non è proprio ermetica e può capitare che, se la teniamo in una borsa, perda qualche goccia.
