OK mounts but they sent wrong bolts. Customer support crap
They did arrive pretty quick and the mounts are pretty good but they don't compare in quality compared to a Simpson Strong Tie ez base like you can get from Home D. The gauge is much thinner and the powder coating paint job they have is not very tough. Just installing them they got scratched and marred. I hope this won't become a rust issue??The lesser quality I was kind of expecting considering the price compared to a Simpson. The bigger problem is they don't send you the 3/8 inch concrete anchors that are pictured and described in the listing . I got some cheap odd type chinese made 11mm bolts. 3/8 and 11mm are not the same size. I don't own a 11mm carbide bit for drilling into concrete. I don't even know if I've ever seen one in a store. I ended up buying my own 3/8 inch anchors at about 8 bucks. I already had a 3/8 hammer drill bit.Last of all. I actually contacted the seller a few days after I installed these to let them know about the incorrect bolts. That was Oct. 26th They got back to me Nov. 24th. There customer service is as useless as the 11mm bolts they sent me.This is an example of "you get what you pay for"

Used for a Deck. Provided Fasteners are Meh
I've got 12 of these for an exterior deck in the pacific northwest. They look GREAT but the supplied expansion bolts are not ideal for mounting into wood. They do the job, but there is a bit of wobble (I doubt it would pass inspection). The bolts are also a bit cheap; the sheathes will break if you don't have everything lined up perfectly.I asked how I can buy some replacement bolts but have yet to hear back.Overall, these are aesthetically great, but I recommend supplying your own fasteners, especially if you're mounting to wood.

The quality was way better than expected
I had to add a 3' 4x4 post fence to the top of a retaining wall to pass code due to drop off on one side. These held the 4x4 posts (3.5x3.5) very firmly. I didn't use the included anchors because I was tapping into brick so I used tapcon 3/8 screws. Once all posts were mounted and securely attached they are rock solid. Great price for a great look.

Not sized as advertised.
None of the 4x4's I bought fit these and I had trim them down. The 4x4 are consistent but when I measured the openings of these they were off from what was stated. I used the trick and measured corner to corner and this showed me that these were not square.Look at a different product if you want post bases.

Quality 4x4 post supports
These 4x4 brackets are very sturdy and the powder coat seems to be very well done. They worked perfectly to anchor the 4x4 treated posts for a pergola I was constructing. They are a good value for the price as I've shopped them at other online home improvement sources to compare.
