The description says it comes with two lab scoop filling trays x 2. but i don't see a photo of any trays. does it come with the trays?

Could not attach pictures to this response (Amazon you need to fix this) for illustration purposes, if you look at the thumb nail pictures of product at top left side of product page, then look at the 3rd thumb nail down from the top [you need to put your mouse curser over this thumb nail to magnify] the description of the 2 filling trays is actually 2 spoons with a rubber handles, I hope this helps.

width of scoop on the tool with scoop on one and flat end on other? will it fit 00 capsule? thx

I use the size 1 capsules and every tool fits the size one. From my understanding the size 0 is bigger so you should not have any issues.

does scoop (w flat end) fit in 0? using 000 - quite large for dogs - powder fills 1/8th. looking for something easier for dogs to take. thx, mb

I'm not 100% sure, but I think so. I haven't had a problem filling any size capsules yet.

I used these for filling sizes 0-3. These tools were starting to get pretty ‘big’ when getting to the size 3. I believe these would be significantly too big to accommodate sizes 4-5. Alternatively, if you can’t find tools small enough- the different types of ‘spoons’ would likely allow you to slide stuff into sizes 4-5 somewhat easily- you just wouldn’t be able to fit the whole spoon and tamper pieces into the capsule. If you’re filling a lot of capsules in one sitting or on a continuous basis these would probably be a huge headache and take A LOT of time. If you’re only filling a few here or there you could make this work. Hope this helps!

Great set of tools

Nice set of tools that I will be using in my apothecary. Great value for the money. Very easy to use. Very functional for my intended purposes. Should increase the speed of jobs I will be doing with exacting measurements.

Work pretty well, but most of the tools are not used by me

This capsule filling kit comes with many different sized filling and tampering tools, as well as a small "stand" to place the capsules you are filling in to avoid the need to hold them while filling. I personally only found 3 of the tools in the set to be of use to me, at least at this time. I can imagine if you are using different sizes of capsules and such, the other tools would come into play and will be extremely useful.The tools themselves are very well made and are made to fit specific capsule sizes (it comes with an instruction sheet). It also has a small cleaning brush and case to keep it all in.Overall, this little kit is a great value for the money as long as you need more than one size tool.

A good price but didn't work for me.

I wanted to love these...I really did. Unfortunately, they just weren't as I expected. They are great as far as size length and durability but the pill scoop (which I needed the most) was too shallow for my vitamin powder. I deal with many health issues and can't always get out what I need with my fingers. These just don't function as I needed thun to.
