Fantastic ground cover
I have a few spots in my tiny urban lawn that had gone to weeds, and were generally a pain to maintain. We've had some success with the larger cultivars of clover, but their "self-limiting" size is a good bit bigger than I really want. And, with this urban soil in such lousy condition, a nitrogen-fixer is certainly in order. So, this one hasn't had time to grow to full size yet, but I'm happy so far. With minimal care (the only kind I have to give), it sprouted in just a few days. It's already visibly closer, not just some pair of cotyledons indistinguishable from any other. It's filling in well, and look like it might come in thick enough to out-compete the many unwanted species.I tend to seed with a generous hand, and that's worked well in the past for patching the lawn. I might have over-done it a bit in places with this. I'm getting good growth over most of the area weeded, dug up, and seeded, but a few spots have very dense growth - too dense. The poor little seedlings seem to spend so much effort elbowing their way into the sunlight that there's not much left over for getting as big as their better-spaced neighbors. OK, I've learned, and when I clear the next patches of weeds, I'll let the seeds have more room to themselves.I'm trying some pachysandra in another area. That's working well too, but in a very different way. I'll keep using this as I try to reclaim the yard from way too much deferred maintenance. If nothing goes too badly, it should come in as a low-maintenance ground cover, with little need for mowing or weeding. So far, so good.-- wiredweird

Fast growing and lush.
I absolutely love this micro-clover. It grows quickly into a lush and beautiful ground cover. I used it to fill in unsightly bare spots in my lawn. I highly recommend it.

Unsatisfied with this product
I regret buying this brand of microclover. Most of the seeds didn't germinate, and the ones that did came with lots of weeds even though I had prepared the area very carefully like the seed company recommended. I suggest looking for a different microclover supplier.

Not the coverage I expected
Thought this would fill in nicer. Spent nearly $80 on 2 bags, watered religiously and came out very spotty

Sprouts fast
Seeds sprouted at a high germination rate and grew fast. Requires adequate water; not a xeriscape plant. The name "Micro Clover" is a bit of a misnomer. The leaves of young plants are small, but they get bigger as the plant matures. In the end, I thought this clover looked identical to ordinary White Clover.

Oh WOW! I love this stuff!
I didn't have the money to dig up the grass (which I hate because I hate to mow and people put so much fertilizer and weed killer on it that it really is a pain in the neck). I wanted an alternative ground cover, so I bought this and I used an adjustable-holed salt shaker from Amazon to apply it because the seeds as they are tiny and I didn't want them to clump. I think they would in a spreader. The shaker made an even sprinkling. I put it out just before the fall rains. It germinated right away in about a week. Now that it's spring it is everywhere between the grass and has these really tiny yellow flowers. We get a dry spell from about June till September and I never water grass, so it gets all brown. I've been told that this stuff doesn't need water so I'm hoping that after a couple of summers, it will take over from the grass. Either way, I really love this stuff. I will try to come back here and post a photo when the dry spell hits.Even if it doesn't wipe out the grass, I've noticed that the dandelions hate it and I've had to dig out fewer, so it's got to be a win/win. I didn't know the tiny flowers would be yellow and I'm thrilled about it! I plan on putting more clover out next fall again. Here is the Amazon link for the OXO adjustable salt shaker:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082LK4HNT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

100% soft and green wherever you put it
Just like the title says - anywhere you lay this seed down it will grow fast, green, and is soft to the touch. I’ve had area of my yard that I’ve tried putting soil and grass seed to no avail over 3 years. This stuff grows are fresh soil, hard dirt, clay/dirt with no problem. It also grows in 1-2 weeks. If you refer to my pictures you can clearly see that I raked down some fresh soil in one area. The second area I just spread the seed with no prep at all. I watered about 15 minutes, once a day for a week or so. Just enough to allow germination. It’s been 85+ degrees in South Georgia in May/June when I spread the seed. It seems to be amazing in shade and full sun. I found a cheaper site online but the clover isn’t as thick and green as this one. I will be buying another 5lbs (probably from cheaper site) because this stuff is awesome!
