It works great.
I used this Aquastat to intergate a wood gasification boiler into my existing propane furnane. The Aquastat is strapped in the return line of an water to air heat exchanger placed in the duct. When a thermostat calls for heat a Taco pump starts to circulate water. The aquastat signals the air handler to turn on when the pipe reaches a set temperature. It works great.
