Q: how thick is the material this is made out of?

I'm not sure because we no longer have it installed. It was fairly sturdy stuff. We did a major renovation and replaced it because we had all new flooring installed.

Q: Why would you buy a 4 pack for $339.98? Cant I just buy 4 single packs for $140.00?

The four pack should be of the same run and should be identical in color. The individuals may be from different batch runs from different distributors. It would not be as noticeable except for in a large open space.

Q: Is this a 60 foot roll of 4" material or is it pre-cut in smaller lengths? The description says "60 foot roll", but also says "length: 13.5 inch". ???

I ordered this product at first in a shorter length. I believe it was 30 foot roll. I also ordered 60 foot rolls. We had long lengths to cover, so the longer length was more useful to us, but both are good. I do not know anything about 13.5" That measurment is a mystery to me.

Q: I'm looking at using this to flip over and use in my RV slides. Does the back side have a flat smooth surface or any ridges/grooves?

It does have ridges on the back side so that the adhesive will adhere.
