Not built for outdoors.
Easy to use and easy to set up, but can not fly in anything but a VERY light breeze. Definitely would not buy again.. I would buy a much larger unit for outdoors.The auto takeoff and land seems smart, but there are times when you just need to set it down... auto landing takes too long. Return to home sends it VERY high before coming back to home. This is nothing more than a toy....

UPDATED ADVANCED EDITION FLYS INDOORS
ADVANCED EDITION: INDOOR!!!I'm pleased with my purchase of this drone. Be sure to update the firmware for the flight controls. This can be done through the app by connecting to the drones Wi-Fi. The Camera firmware update must be done with a micro SD card. You must download the zip file from the website, unzip, and drop the .bin file into the home directory of the SD card. Then boot. NOTE: Format the SD card with an Android device first (not APPLE friendly). This will avoid issues with the Wi-Fi connecting after updating. The update takes about a minute and the drone should automatically reboot, mine didn't and I had to reboot it myself because I didn't format the SD card. You can verify the firmware via the app. I purchased the SanDisk 32G Micro with UHD. This is for high quality video, $25 from Target. I've also purchased the Wingsland R6 remote control for better maneuverability and distance. Ignore any reviews that aren't recent, most people fly without calibrating and updating which isn't how the drone performs best. Definitely worth half the cost of the DJI and also folds up to fit in your backpack. Essential for the backcountry camper. PS: Buy extra batteries and a battery bank to recharge them with for longer flight time.

Battery very limited to even start using drone
Great little drone to start practicing and not be scared of loosing it, battery that comes with it only lasts between 5-7min and takes about 1hr in a half to charge, not worth it.

Check your propeller screws before you fly
Propeller Screws were lose on the first flight. One fell out and could not be found. No spares were provided, and Wingsland has none available for purchase. Very frustrated and unhappy with my purchase!!!
