Cups hold closer to 9oz, which may be perfect for those who want 8oz plus room for foam.
These are lovely cups but in fact hold closer to 9oz, which may be perfect for someone who wants 8oz with room to spare for milk or foam. However, this cup was just slightly too tall for my purposes, and I was looking for a true 8oz to the rim. I have the Nespresso Inissa coffee maker and sometimes I like to do a lungo+ and a true 8oz cup is prefect with room for milk and foam. This one just fit under the spout, but if I lifted the handle to eject the pod while the cup is still in place, it catches the cup lip on the mechanism and would probably result in the cup being damaged. I found that the JECOBI 8oz cup is slightly shorter , a true 8 oz cup and is perfect for my purposes.

Very small.
Very small. They look larger in the photo and coffee easily spills. Make sure to look at the ounces when you purchase these mugs.

Great cups for cappuccinos on special occasions. Probably not for every day use unless you're very careful.
I had been wanting a double-walled cup for so-called "classic" cappuccinos (2 ounces espresso, 2 ounces steamed milk, 2 ounces foam) for a while, but I had never seen one available in the 7 to 8 ounce range that had a handle (need the extra size because I stretch the volume a bit more for puffy drier foam as is liked by many of my guests, whatcha gonna do). The other day I did some searching here and lo and behold found that there are now a few different versions available. This brand had the shape I preferred the most (rounder overall, instead of the tapered cone style, but to each their own), and I didn't see any complaints in the reviews about cracked glass nor rough drinking edge as I found in the other brands being offered. Sooo.. got these today and must say they are really really nice. They came packaged very securely, are smooth all around, and attractive (better be at this price, huh!) Anyhow, it's pretty neat to drink a just-made cappu and barely feel any of the heat through the sides of the cup. The only nit to pick is that the javafly logo is quite prominently plastered at the bottom of the cup, so when you're at the end of the drink it shows in the bottom. Not enough of a nit to deduct a star though since at least the font is so "stylish" that it's barely legible. Keep in mind that these feel extremely fragile, so handle them with care, and I would definitely only hand wash them. As costly as they are I wouldn't risk them tumbling around in the dishwasher or being bumped into by another heavier glass or something. In summary, if you're looking for a stylish, double-walled, chubby-looking cup in this size... I recommend these, though I'll probably only use them when I can take my sweet time.
