Life-Changing.
I'd read that straight-walled cups were no good for espresso because the crema prefers a wider brim than bottom. This cup seems to prove that rule: My cremas are suddenly 1/4" thick of pure (tooth-yellowing) goodness. (So brush your teeth after finishing your espressos, especially if that's your daily routine.)CAVEATS:1. Could be that I'm just now seeing the full crema for the first time. Just saying, I haven't run a formal test, so part of this could be the novelty of actually seeing the drink through the glass for the first time. (Aside: it is delightful to see the dark, rich espresso and comforting crema.)2. To be fair, my previous cup was slightly larger (REI tiny camping coffee cup.) So, the larger crema could have something to do with stepping down from 5oz to 3.5oz per pull. Don't know, don't care. Just happy I stumbled on this solution. This is my first borosilicate item. Observations/impressive from a layperson:1. Thermal properties are impressive...I still pre-warm the cup before the pull. You can barely feel the warmth on the outside of the cup relative to other coffee cups. Which means it retains more heat than other cups.2. Feels as light as plastic -- It can barely stand up empty because the handle is heavy relative to the body.3. Per Wikipedia, this material resists corrosion. So I expect it will remain clear with minimal cleaning after use. (I've only had it for a few weeks, so only a few years of usage will tell.)I definitely recommend this cup for fellow espresso lovers.

Tips Over
The handle was easy to use. Tea stayed hot for a few minutes. The one thing that is very upsetting it will tip over very easy when you set it down. This happens frequently.so that is why I gave it the 4 stars.

Great cup for espresso
My husband has a cappuccino maker, and we had the shotglass-style cup for the espresso. The glass got quite hot, and it was hard to fill to the top and not spill it before it got to the mug. This works much better, as the handle keeps our hands cool, and allows my husband to balance the cup upside down over the mug to get the last of the crema out. I'm still not sure if it's glass or plastic, but it works great.

Less than Ideal
Bought these cups for my morning espresso. Online they look cool, and I thought they would work well. They don't hold much volume, and they are very light weight...to light weight! While washing one, I dropped it in the sink, and it cracked. It barely fell 6 inches into a stainless steel sink. Seemed way too fragile. The one good thing is the insulation...I can pick up the cup when full of hot coffee, and it is cool to the touch.

Break easily
They're very pretty and great for espresso, but VERY delicate! One barely touched another dish in the sink, and it broke.

Excellent glasses. I purchased a pair of these
Excellent glasses. I purchased a pair of these. They are very durable and never get hot on the outside, but the coffee stays very hot on the inside. The glass acts as a thermal insulator. I am very happy with them and decided to purchase a pair of the larger size for Lattes and Cappucino. You will not be disappointed.

Nice cups but broke pretty easily
These cups are a nice size for a double espresso and I use them every day, but the handle broke off while I was hand washing one of them. I’ve only had them for six months.

The perfect glass cup for a lungo Nespresso
I use this at work with my Nespresso Pixie. It's the perfect size for a lungo epsresso. Just enough room for a little milk or cream.I've had cups like this before, so i just hand wash it so it doesn't fog up inside.
