Beware of expiry date
This is the second module I`ve bought in the last year and have since found out they have an expiry date. The first unit lasted 3 months without hardly any use. The second unit expires in December this year. Beware.

Good brand. Good breathalyzer.
Great replacement. AlcoMate is the only company making a breathalyzer with replacement sensors. The others are throw away. Why? What a waste. I highly recommend this brand. I bought mine from a State Patrol officer on personal time during a beer festival who lost a loved one in a DUI crash. I myself have lost two family members to car accidents involving a DUI driver. This one is personal.

the component came in a box that was damaged. The sensor displayed an error code 22. i had to order a 2nd sensor that worked. I would like my credit card refunded please.

Easy Replacement
I bought the AlcoMate AL7000 precisely because it was the only one that enabled you to replace the sensor yourself. I used this to replace my old sensor, and it was simple. Open the access door, pull the old one straight out (no tools needed) and snap the new one in. Now the calibration warning is gone from the device, and it works great. Update: After only about 3 months, I got a CAL warning. I ordered another one, hoping the first was just defective. The one that came in my AlcoMate lasted about a year.
