Is the built in lock TSA compatible?

This case does not have a built-in lock. You are able to add your own lock through the loops.

The 11.7" depth isn't consistent from end to end due to indentions necessary to accommodate handle and wheels.

I don’t see how the 1615 fit, it’s about an inch too big all around, I bought one and returned it based on this response.

What is the maximum weight this can this hold?

I put over 100lbs into the case and it handled it fine.

Great for travel!! Especially furries and cameras!!

This is the perfect item for airport travel with items you want to guarantee safety for. I appreciate the pelican offer lifetime warranty on these items and I would highly recommend especially when traveling by plane. This is made to fit perfect perfectly under most airline standards. I would recommend checking for your own benefit. But these are really sturdy and have some pretty good source to them. I did not get the padding for it, but the foam would be handy for more delicate things such as cameras. Material feels nice and firm well also offering a bit of extra room due to the lid. I would highly recommend getting this for any future traveling.
