DEWALT Diamond Blade for Masonry, Dry Cutting, Continuous Rim, 7/8-Inch Arbor, 4-1/2-Inch (DW4725)

This DEWALT diamond blade worked perfectly for my masonry project—smooth, clean cuts with no chipping, and it handled brick and pavers with no problem at all. It fit my grinder easily, stayed steady, and is holding up really well after multiple uses. Excellent quality for the price!

I was able to cut 2" thick pavers (cut both sides and snap off) in both straight lines and curves (around a fish pond). The blade worked very well and is still usable. The entire area was about 14 x 14 with a 6x14 walk way. Cuts were needed on some of the edge pieces and on some of the walkway pieces. A full sized concrete saw would not have worked on the curves.

Seems to be a decent blade, my first time using one. I found a giant lump of concrete in my lawn that is too large to carry, so this is being used to chip away at it slowly. You will probably need a strong battery/grinder as this tends to put more load than typical grinding tasks. I found this blade cheaper than from the hardware store. This blade operates smoothly, no more vibration than other discs. I have not noticed any dulling after several runs with a 5ah battery on my grinder. If you need to cut masonry/concrete and aren't sure exactly what to buy, start with this disc.

Wow!, The best concrete cutting blade I ever used. Cut through hardened lawn edge concrete forms like a sharp saw through softwood lumber. Previously I had only used the standard masonry cutting blades that wear out after cutting one brick, and takes 10 minutes to do that little job. Thought I would try this 4 1/2" DeWalt diamond blade and I'm not sorry I did. I didn't even notice the slightest wear on the blade after completely cutting 2 sections of hardened concrete formed blocks. Cuts at least 15 X faster than the cheap discs with what seems like no wear at all. A really good purchase at a very decent price. Arrived very quickly in the mail.
