The shelf is a fine replacement because it's all that is available, but they all have, and will always have the same issues:1) they're so big that when anything is "dropped" into the shelf, it has a high probability of cracking the cold plastic bottom2) even WORSE, the front clear section is held together by a very small hook tab on the top corner that inserts into the white shelf section, and they WILL break. I have replaced these 4 times now, and the last two I drill and then use 1/2" screws to add reinforcement.VERY poor design by the manufacturer. As far as fit and finish it's fine, and as mentioned, it's the only thing out there.

Way over priced...shame on Samsung for making it so that it breaks....Third shelf that has broken...Samsung totally blows off any suggestion for replacement...maybe not purchase Samsung refrigerators and appliances after such bad service and faulty products....

One of my trays cracked a few weeks ago because we tend to jam too much stuff in them. This was a cheap and perfect fit for my Samsung refrigerator. I have the RF323TEDBSR model from 2012. Also, the seller got this out to us in a few days. I'm very happy with this new tray.

The tray fits my refrigerator as the one before it did. I believe that the previous one broke because we would force to much stuff in it causing strain on the plastic. I do think that this could have been made with higher quality material. However, this is the only option available.

My kiddo keeps breaking this one specific shelf. When she was very little she tried to use it to climb into the fridge, and it worked the first couple of times...not really well the last time. The next time I had to buy this shelf it was because she kept slamming the door. I really hope this one isn't abused like the last two.

Even though Samsung should make better bins, this replacement is exactly like original. Hopefully I can get another 5+ years from this one.
