The Kingstone Bible is the most complete graphic adaptation of the Bible ever done. This 3-volume hard cover series covers all of the books of the Bible in a historical and chronological manner. Review: Kingstone truly delivered something special - I did not expect to sit down with a comic book and walk away feeling like I just absorbed a massive amount of biblical historyโbut here we are. The Kingstone Bible series is genuinely impressive. The artwork alone is worth the price of admissionโdetailed, dramatic, and powerfulโbut what really caught me off guard is how much depth is packed into it. Across three full volumes, this doesnโt just skim the surface; it covers an incredible amount of content, far more than many condensed versions out there. And honestly, that visual storytelling does a lot of heavy lifting. It brings the stories to life in a way thatโs engaging, memorable, and at times, intense. Which brings me to one important note: this is NOT for younger kids. Some of the imagery can get pretty heavy and even a bit unsettling. This isnโt the soft, sanitized versionโit leans into the gravity of the material. Iโd definitely recommend it more for older kids, teens, or adults who can handle and appreciate that tone. Pros: - Stunning, high-quality artwork - Surprisingly deep and comprehensive - Makes complex stories far more engaging and accessible Cons: - Some imagery may be too intense for younger readers - Not a โlightโ or simplified retelling Final verdict: If youโre looking for a unique, visually powerful, and surprisingly thorough way to experience these stories, this series absolutely delivers. Just know what youโre getting intoโitโs as impactful as it is impressive. Review: Wonderful rendering of the Bible as Graphic novel - I'm a retired teacher who often used classic novel graphic novels for reluctant readers. I was actually looking for ECs graphic novel renderings of Bible stories to include in my graphic novel collection. While EC has not done reprints of their Classic Novels as they have done with their horror comics, I did find this 3 volume collection of the Bible as a graphic novel. Wow! This edition of the Bible is amazing. Drawn by artists from Marvel and DC comics, this collection is highly detailed, referenced to the written word, lavishly drawn and colored. I recommend this for anyone who has trouble with just reading straight through the Bible. Especially recommended for teens, it could help even adults get the Bible stories in great detail. Read this graphic novel with your own Bible. The only thing I would say is a minus is that it is a KJV Bible and misses those books in the Catholic Bible, but that's my only complaint, and not a biggie. Worth the investment.

Illustrated Bible for Older, Modern Audience
Amazing. High quality animation style drawings on National Geographic quality paper. As the new SuperBook is to the original SuperBook so is this Bible for teens/adults to the terrific Iva Hoth The Picture Bible of the 1970s and 1980s for kids. Read After Kids' The Picture Bible The stories and the illustrations are not for little kids. They are less filtered (and more accurate) than a children's bible. They aren't for theological study but they are theologically correct. Excellent first pass tool for getting the sweep of the story of the Bible, especially those not raised on Bible stories. Knowing the stories and chronology first allows for text reading the Bible for themes, repeated truths, foreshadowing, and the ever-present, ever-central backbone of Jesus the Christ, the coming and coming again resurrected redeemer. An excellent resource.

Loved it โ ended up giving two away!
Really enjoyed this Bible trilogy. The artwork is awesome and it tells the stories in such an easy and engaging way. I bought three copies โ kept one for myself and gave the other two as gifts. Both people loved them too. Great way to get into the Word visually and makes a perfect gift for friends or family.

Beautifully Done
These books are amazing! I have always wanted a set, and when my nephew moved in and was finding it difficult to read the Bible, I immediately ordered these. Now he is learning and getting a footing and after this set he will understand what he is reading and recognize the characters. Iโm extremely impressed with this set. The visuals are phenomenal. Storyline is simple and Iโm just wowed. Worth every penny!! It makes me excited to see my 13 year old nephew happy to read it. He gets up every morning and grabs the first volume like itโs his iPad ๐ค.

Worth every penny
This is an extremely enjoyable way to experience the bible. It is put together in chronological order which makes the whole story flow easily, the art work is top level professional and each story and section has different art styles from different artists which keeps things fresh. They absolutely did not skip on quality in anyway. I'm not very religious but I wanted to understand the bible better and this was a perfect way to do it. The timelines that tie the stories within the framework of historical events and time periods they put in the beginning with the table of contents is really helpful. One of the coolest things I've bought this year.

Just as described, and arrived well in estimated time.
Amazing books, they were for a present and the recipient is delighted. I actually asked to borrow 1 at the time to read myself, they are beautifully presented, well narrated, they are very descriptif and you will see a reference to bible ex "Genesis 22-10" onbottom of pages to compare. I believe they have done a brilliant job, amazing illustrations as well and the quality is fab. I totally recommend.

Rises to the level of Serious Art.
As an employee of the Anglican Church I am navigating several spiritual paths at once. My main responsibility is for children and youth so in preparing for their classes this visual stimulation infuses my teaching and their learning. Additionally as I pursue my own religious education this visual treasure house of images stimulates the narratives and boosts my memory as my knowledge retrieval now has a visual dimension.
