At first I was upset that this cable had worn out. Internal wires started making intermittent contact near the plug ends. So I looked it up and realized I bought this little cable to go from my phone to our little speaker back in April of 2014. It is now June of 2019. This little cable has lasted 5 years and taken some pretty tough punishment. It gets folded up and rolled up and stuck in the speaker carrying case. Then taken out and straightened and plugged in and unplugged again. We take it with us when we travel and camp. Even though much of the "gold" plating has worn off the plugs - this was a pretty good investment.

I purchased this cable to replace the one that I had previously bought from radio shack. It's primary (and sole) use is as an auxiliary input audio cable in my car, so that I can listen to music from my phone. I have to say, for the extremely low price, I was blown away by the quality of the sound. The tiny, thin little cable does not disappoint. Where my old cable would crackle and drop out when it was moved or finagled with, this one is rock-solid. For the purposes of playing music from your mp3 player or phone on your car, or any other auxiliary input device, I feel that it simply cannot be beat. I bought one for myself and one for my wife's car as well. I shan't be buying another $15 Radioshack replacement anytime soon, I can tell you that much.

Bought this cable to hook up my phone to my car stereo via audio jack. The cable is reasonably well built, but seems a bit too thin and fragile to last very long. The connector pins are very well built and fit snug and firm into my stereo as well as my phone. The cable I was using prior had looser connecting pins which would cause static from never properly seating in my phone jack, where this cable does not. Good product for the price, but I would have preferred stronger cable shielding.

We have had our car for almost five years and JUST realized that within the center console there is an AUX jack to allow us to use our iPhones and iPods through the stereo system. Who knew!? In light of this amazing (if overdue) discovery, I immediately ordered this cable to test out the feature. The cable has a sturdy feel, especially near the connection points (we've had trouble with some other brands' iPhone charger cables, so durability and strength near connectors is a big focus for us!). The cable works perfectly and we are thrilled to have a "new" way to enjoy our time in the car. If only we'd read the car's manual as closely as we read product reviews here on Amazon, we'd have been enjoying it for years already!! I would not hesitate to buy this cable again.

I have an F-150 that comes with a Blue-tooth capability that allows me to play my phone and other devices through the stereo input. However I have an Android phone and Ford's Sync is not to friendly to Apple products as my girlfriend has unsuccessfully tried to connect and it rarely takes. I decided to buy this as I also have an audio input and this product is exactly what you need. It isn't too long but is slim so it doesn't take too much room which is nice considering all the other stuff I have in the truck. She loves it so she can listen to her music in the truck when we take trips. The cable seems to keep a clean sound with a strong connection between it and the truck. I would recommend to anyone looking for such a product just be careful on length.

I ordered this cable so that I could plug my phone into my garage stereo. These have no static feedback due to the gold-plated connectors. I use this cable to connect my iPhone to my auxiliary port in my car, since it is not Bluetooth equipped. I received it in mid-June, 2013. It worked very well until about a week ago (Early March, 2014), when it appears a short developed in the cable. The sound now cuts in and out, particularly on vocals. I can fiddle with the wire and bring the vocals back, but that isn't practical while driving and will only work in the short term. I would recommend looking at competing products, which is what I plan to do now.

These cables are perfect. I've never had a better, more durable 3.5mm M/M cable in my life (and I'm an audio producer and music enthusiast, so I use it EXCESSIVELY.) When you rotate it inside the jack, it NEVER crackles/shorts/creates bad output, so you can run or put it through whatever physically stressful activities you want with it. The price for it (+ shipping + tax) was less than $5. If you're as fed up as I am with those janky Monster cables that short and screw up on one of your two stereo speakers after your first hour of owning them, then this cable is for you, and will be your best inanimate friend. If you have even $5 to spare and you're currently searching for this type of cable, you'll never know how crazy you really are if you're going to pass on this.
