Is there an extension cable available? I need more flexibility in panel placement.

I assume you are asking about the 12 volt output and not the 3 USB outputs. So you want to replace the Big Blue solar panel cable (the 40 inch power cable with 5.5 by 2.1 mm plugs on each end) with a longer one.

Yes, you can find 12v power extension cables on Amazon's website for CCTV cameras. The wire size (about 18 gauge) may not carry the current without excessive power loss for your application.

The more current your device uses and the longer the power cable will require a larger wire size in the power cable. The solar panel supplies a maximum of 5 amperes which may require a 14 or 12 gauge wire size. Beware, wire size is the reverse from wire gauge. The 12 gauge is a larger wire size than 14 gauge. So the smaller gauge size represent the larger diameter wire.

You may need to build an extension cable. Search Amazon for "zip wire". You should find 12 gauge rolls of 2 wires: red and black bonded together. You will need 5.5 by 2.1 mm power plugs. You will need soldering or crimping tools and skills. Maybe a local ham radio operator or ham radio club can help you.

A customer stated that theres only 60 watts coming from the mppt controller.  Is the 120 watt output not voltage regulated?

The MPPT controller output is voltage regulated. The regulated voltage depends on the mode setting: 12.6 V for lithium; 13.8 V for lead-acid; 14.4 V for LiFeP04. The mode setting is indicated by LEDs.

More accurately, the MPPT controller regulates the current so the battery charges faster without overcharging or damage. The voltage indicates the fully charged battery value. The watts available determine how much current is available for charging at a specified voltage. Power in watts equals voltage multiplied by current. So more watts means more current and faster the battery charges.

This says its supposed to have a 60 watt pd output, yet the specifications say: usb output 2: 5v/3a;9v/2a;12v/1.5a

12v * 1.5a is 18 watts?
