The Choice Is Clear

Buy this! It saved my life.
Tap water nearly killed me. This is long sorry. I have always been a sarcastic tap water user. What I mean by that is that when I saw people giving their pets purified drinking water it made me scoff. This was until I was pet sitting at a house and only drank distilled water for a week. When I came home I drank tap water again and was astounded how crappy I felt that day. My head was so foggy that I was literally afraid to drive to the store. My knees hurt really badly like when I had osteoarthritis and I was anxious. I did some research and found that tap water has so much crap in it that it explained how I felt. At the very least I can say that the hormones that get flushed down the sink do not get removed properly. Anyway, from then on I only gave my cats and myself purified and all three of us in one month’s time have made miraculous recoveries! We all were sick and couldn’t figure out why. I have had one health issue after another that I realized began just 7 months after I quit my job, therefore staying home and drinking 5 cups of tape water per day.I used to drink the purified water at the restaurant I worked at when I was there. Anyway, the first thing that happened was that my digestive system crashed and I couldn’t lose weight. Then, anemia and a UTI, then parasites that would not go away, then high blood pressure, then plaque in my arteries. You can tell this is occurring because you will have tons of plaque on your teeth, then estrogen dominance and the list goes on and on. I was so close to death that I had a Near Death Experience during this time! Anyway, I feel so much better and my cats look ten years younger. They don’t limp when they walk anymore and they are a healthy weight for the first time ever. This book will explain to you very quickly how distilled water is good for you. You can get your own TDS meter and test your own water from home. Do not believe the hype that distilled leaches minerals from the body. How can water do that? It makes no sense and we don’t get our minerals from water anyway! I now believe that tap water and diet like dairy and processed meats are what is causing all disease on this planet.Another thing worth looking into is a movie called “WHAT THE HEALTH”. It will give you a look into healthy eating and what food really does to the body. This book is worth it. If you want to treat yourself and do what is right for your pets and family, stop drinking tap water. I live in a really nice neighborhood. You would think the water would be good here. No tap water in America is safe. ❤️

The overall message is good, but question what you read
This book has been just one part of my research into distilled water and its dietary safety. Based on my conclusions, it's correct on these things:- Most of the water people drink contains chemicals that aren't necessarily healthful.- Distilled water is perfectly safe to drink and is among the best water to drink.- Food should be relied upon for minerals, not municipal tap water. In short, ask naysayers to show you the studies showing that distilled water is dangerous for your health. Guess what... they won't find any. That said, this book is quite outdated which results in some serious errors. There are also some case studies that are specious. The worst error, in my opinion, is this idea that "inorganic" forms of minerals in tap water aren't used by the body, thus it would be pointless to rely on water as a source of things like calcium. Calcium ions are an electrolyte in the body and are used to regulate bodily function through calcium channels, and they can be assimilated directly from calcium ions in the diet. This book was written decades ago, and I'm not sure how it could have gotten this that wrong even back in 1971.To its credit, there really is no credible argument that you *need* water for those minerals. You're far better off getting them by consuming plants and animals. There are other more minor errors sprinkled about, like the idea that dietary cholesterol is bad. This is still a common belief in the mainstream, but it's been a thoroughly discredited idea for a very long time. Even the American Heart Association and the US government no longer propagate this concept.Anyway, this book is only a few bucks so it's hard to lose if you're curious about the truth about water. This just isn't the book for you if you are looking for something a little more academic. It's very short and written to be persuasive to everyday people. Some of its errors might frustrate you.Take this book for what it is and continue to look elsewhere for more information on water (or lack thereof). There's simply no reason you should choose the "perfectly safe" municipal tap water filled with harmful chemicals and pharmaceuticals when you have access to filtered and distilled water.

Short, simple, & profound
Enjoyed this book! & made some changes to my water consumption afterwards. Distilled water makes so much sense after reading this! & also after seeing what’s left in the distiller when I run it. This book truly has made me feel so informed on this now.

All Water is not the same
What I learned by reading this pamphlet is that there are nine types of water. According to the author, Allen E. Banik only one of them is a good source of H2O. Guess which one that is? See below.Pros*****Size of booklet/pamphletQ & A section in the back - like do babies need distilled water?Easy to read and understandConfirmation of other health practices that I already subscribe to in my dietCons*****Did not go into much detail about why the other 8 sources of water are not as beneficial as the ultimate sourceDated - 1989 24th reprint; A lot of retail water containers are now known to contribute to future potential health issuesRead this book, it's well worth the money and ROI for your time as well. If there is a foundation success of any diet, it should be distilled water.Tip: If you decide to buy distilled water, buy it from the baby section of the supermarket.

Take your water advice with a pinch of salt
I was very excited about receiving this item having made some preliminary research into water distillation. I have continued with distillation and enjoy good quality water daily, but this pamphlet and its contents make some insupportable health claims that are of their time (written in the 70s), and not to be taken seriously.Dr Banik was accused of fabulateing another book called ‘Hunza Land’ about a mountain village and their ‘incredible health’ which was later heavily debunked. Worth investigating the claims before you quote them.

I looked forward to this small book, but after ...
I looked forward to this small book, but after reading it, I found it very dated, circ 60,s and really there was very basic information that really was not research of any depth, disappointing.
