Descaled my tankless water heater with this. Looking around at MSDS sheets for products specifically marketed for water heater descaling indicates a lot of them are nothing but Sulfamic Acid Crystals, with a recommendation of 1.2lbs in two gallons of water. Just add two gallons of water to a 5gallon bucket, add 1.2lbs of these crystals, now you have a descaling solution.

If you only want to handle a little of the acid at a time, this package and quantity can help clean, soak and dilute whatever is needed. The container is tight and you wont spill or waste any unnecessarily.

I used it for water well treatment. It works great for removing scale.

If a clean tile floor is your goal, look no further! Nothing gets a floor sparkling like a hot acid wash and that's what you'll have with the powerful, yet available to the public acid crystals. Add a cup to a gallon or two of hot water, put on some gloves, grab that brush and get to work. I've got a tile floor which collects dirt from numerous kids, dogs and such. This is the only thing that really digs the dirt out from the crevices and makes it shine. Make sure to wear your safety glasses or one bad splash and you'll next be shopping next for a seeing eye dog but they probably have that available with Amazon Prime too!
