Avent 2 Piece My Bendy Replacement Straws

I got these replacements because my 3 year old son would bite on the straw and it would start to fall apart so for safety reasons we replace them as soon as he gets his teeth through the straw. This is not a fault of the actual product but just a teething toddler and the biting on whatever he can, he also used to bite holes in his pacifier that we would have to replace. This set is amazing and saves having to purchase the entire cup set again but since my last order I haven’t been able to find these anywhere so I’m wondering if they were recalled. If so, maybe the ease of biting through the straw may be something to do with that after all.

I love these straw cups. They're what we started my son on a long time ago after his speech therapist recommended a straw cup over sippy, and they're what we still use daily now that he's over 2. Very minimal leakage (make sure the parts are in securely) easy for little ones to grip, and I love the flip top so straw isn't always exposed to air, floor, hands, whatever. Parts seem to be pretty durable but my son went through a phase a while ago during which he chewed on everything, and he chewed through some of the mouthpieces. So nice that they sell these replacement parts for this reason. Cheaper than buying all new cups with parts.

The Avent My Bendy Straw Cup is by far the best toddler straw cup I have found. Having extra straws can be really nice in case a straw gets lost or damaged. A number of reviewers have commented that their little ones chew on the straws, eventually tearing them, which could necessitate a replacement. Our daughter has not shown any tendency to chew on them (so far!), but it's nice having extras because I'm sure some will get lost (probably ending up in the Bermuda Triangle with the lost socks from our laundry). Love these cups, and love having replacement straws to keep them in action.

I've had these straws for 5 months now for my 2 yr old. I wanted to get him off of bottle nipples and I wanted to keep using the bottles I already had so I took a gamble and bought these. I really liked these at first. They fit on so many of the different bottles I already had: avent classic, playtex drop-ins, mam & walmart's parent choice wide neck stainless bottles. They fit better on the smaller avent classic bottles like 7 oz. But as I used them, my son did not like the straw very much b/c he was so used to a wide neck nipple due to him having severe lip/tongue ties that were revised. Also, the straws would leak milk or water from the straw (not the base of the neck which never leaked in any of the bottles)...to be fair, I've always had leaking issues in straw sippies of all brands back when my daughter was little. With all that said, the product is very good and I love that it fit on all of my bottles. The issue is with my son's preference, not the product. I would still recommend them. Oh and also, they were easy to clean and not fragile...very durable.

As all parents know you have to transition your baby over the months. Well this can be costly By purchasing multiple different cups. I’ve had the advent bottles since My son was born. Thought I really don’t want to buy “More” cups just for different spouts . Wasn’t sure How these would work, but satisfy and happy I can use my current advent bottles. Pros - it fits on regular avent bottles. If your baby start to drink whole milk only and you don’t want to buy additional cups, these are great options! - They are easy to clean when you use a bottle cleaning brush. Con -I recommend using it at home, not outside. Because it’s not completely leak proof, the bottle may leak when your baby flip over it.

I gave these to my daycare kids to use for water bottles. They use them indoor & outdoors so they have been holding up well. They are easy to clean, I like that all the straw & cap pieces come apart. My only complaint is that the straw isn’t that durable...doesn’t hold up to chewing. Other that that these are great water bottles!

My two year olds have chewed through the upper straw a couple of times on their Avent My Bendy Straw cups, and these replacements are perfect. I keep a box on hand just in case. Although they were able to chew the straw I wouldn’t say it’s a choking hazard; after months of use they just tore the end of the straw a little bit (no chunks came off). Just keep an eye on the straw when you wash it and replace when you see a tear begin to form.

Love to be able to buy the parts separately since my baby likes to chew the straws!
