I bought this book primarily to learn more and have a more in depth discussion about the chronic miasms. The love that Griffith goes into the theory and energy of the miasms so that the reader can better grasp the consequences of their presence in the body. It provided me with a critical education of a gaping hole in my homeopathic understanding. Most books from the library or even here on Amazon are superficial about homeopathy altogether and don't reference the miasms, or if they do, only superficially. I am of the belief that the miasms are a critical element that is missing from most homeopathic treatment -- and, indeed, the well-being of our entire medical system. In the interests of full disclosure, I haven't read the other parts of the book. I wanted to know about the miasms. That said, I have little doubt that Griffith provides insights into other elements of classical homeopathy as well. Highly recommended

Colin Griffith leads you along at a great gallop into the history and practice of homeopathy with live cases for examples, comparisons with other remedies and the most indepth descriptions of the miasms. It seems that almost any question you could have about this three-dimensional medicine is covered somewhere in this book. I should say it is aimed at serious students and practising homeopaths and will keep you engrossed for years and years finding at least one gem of fact, experience or pure magic every time you pick his book up.

Pobably best for someone with some exposure to homeopathy already. But a great read for the person wanting to be inspired by it's power and effectiveness in treating the complex, chronic conditions pharma-medicine cannot cure.

This is compellingly written and full of insight. I don't know of any other book that details and explains miasms so thoroughly and in a way that leads the reader compellingly on the trail of development of human disease. It's easy to read and has lovely touches of humour to lighten the concepts of homeopathy that he sets out , devoid of pontification, this book is outstanding. I return to it time and time again for further learning and understanding. Thank you, Colin for your wonderful book.
