Well made ceramic mug. However, it does not keep drinks hot. Myciffeewas Luke warm in less than 15 minutes. I'm going to try it with cold drinks. I really wanted this to work. UPDATE. I tried with cold drinks and it works great! Kerps cold for hours without ice or chilling.

I love this coffee mug and it is the only one I have that almost fits two k-cups. The price is great for this size coffee mug and I love that it is ceramic. Easy to clean both hand washing and in dish washer. It has stayed intact for over a year and has never gotten a funny taste or worn down.

I really like this quality made mug. It holds a goodly amount of coffee, the handle is sturdy and it can take a large hand. The mug is easy to clean. I’ve had one for 2 years before I accidentally broke it and because I like this mug so much I just bought 5 more, a replacement one for me and an extra 4 for guests.

With all the hype around microplastics I decided to shelve my favorite plastic 20 oz insulated Thermos mug and find a plastic free alternative for my morning coffee. I had a list of requirements for my new mug. No plastic or metal (I love my Yeti for cold drinks but hate the metallic taste it gives hot beverages), at least 16 oz capacity, microwavable, and it must come with a lid (not only to avoid spillage, but to help keep my beverage hot). This morning was my first experience with the Ello Jane mug. Overall, I am pleased with the product. It is very well made and much heavier than I expected it to be. It is also very attractive, which is a bonus since I tend to leave sitting out all day. While the product description states it is 18 oz, I found it easily held a full 20 oz, I just took a couple sips before putting on the lid. The rubber bottom is nice, I just wish they also had thought to put a rubber ring about halfway up the mug (why 4 stars instead of 5). Even though the handle is large, I found myself wanting to hold on to the cup when drinking and the ceramic is hot! The addition of a rubber ring would let me hold onto the cup without burning my fingers. I like my coffee hot, so I preheated the mug with hot water while the coffee was brewing. I don’t know if the mug kept the coffee as warm as the Thermos mug did, and the last few sips were a bit tricky to drink because of the way the lid sits but given that I can enjoy my morning java without fear of ingesting microplastics, I found it a fair tradeoff. All this to say, if you are looking to upgrade from plastic to a well-made ceramic cup/mug you should give the Ello Jane ceramic mug a try.

I had high hopes for this ceramic mug, it has a nice design but it does not keep the coffee warm, it gets cold very quickly as in any other regular ceramic mug.

I first bought this cup at a local box store. I like the ceramic for holding the temperature, the size is a little larger than most coffee cups and I like that. The rubber, silicone bottom prevents furniture damage and protects the cup. It's dishwasher safe. I don't use it as a travel mug, because I don't like to drink beverages when I am driving due to risk of accidents. It's my cup of choice for coffee at home. I broke my first cup by accident. Over all the cup is quite sturdy. 2026 UPDATE - ELLO JANE CERAMIC TRAVEL MUG (gray base): I have been using Ello Jane Ceramic Travel Mugs almost daily for many years as a home coffee mug. I don't use them as travel mugs as the handle doesn't fit in my SUV's cup holder. Replaced one I accidentally broke, and bought 6 more. Over all very sturdy. I wash them top rack in my dishwasher. One developed cracks inside on the bottom when I thoughtlessly put ice in a hot mug (no liquids in it). I had to discard the mug. Otherwise no scratching, chipping or cracking and the protective base is as good as new. Now more food safety conscious I searched to see if the mugs' ceramic glaze is certified lead-free and cadmium-free? I have "googled" with zero results. I went to the Ello Jane web site and found no mention the glaze at all. If the glaze is "Certified lead-free and cadmium-free, Ello Jane needs to post it on their web site and include that in the product description. In the absence of that, I am no longer using them and regrettably will have to discard them and will look for something else. I no longer recommend them as I don't know if they are chemically safe to use. I wish I had been more food safety aware before I bought them. If the absence of that certification isn't a concern for you then they are wonderful mugs.

I love these mugs, I have bought probably five over the years. The pros: -These are large, they hold a lot of coffee, almost 20 ounces. - they travel well, they fit into the car cupholder, so I can make coffee in the morning and drink it on the way to work -it sounds like some people don’t like the lids, but mine work just fine. They seem to seal nicely, and allow you to sip a hot beverage right out of it. I also love this cup, because I make coffee with a clever, where I pour hot water right over grinds. And not every coffee cup fits under a clever. You have to have one with narrow opening, but which still holds at least 16 ounces of coffee. This one works perfectly for using a clever. The one drawback is that I feel like these are not the most durable cups in the world. Two have broken on me over the last few years, so I wish that maybe they would toughen up their ceramic a little bit. The silicone bottom also seems to wear out around the edges over time. so in the end, I think these cups only last 2 to 3 years if you’re using them daily.

These tumblers keep my hot drinks hot for a long time. It's got plenty of space for a large drink. I can use my electric frother to mix protein or cocoa into my coffee. My only complaint is that they do not fit into any of our vehicles cup holders. We have tried turning and also using a lift, and nothing allows the tumbler to sit without spilling or falling out of the cup holder. Great for home use. Not so great for commuting or travel.

I love this mug. I needed a mug that held a lot of coffee/tea that I could use while at my desk. This mug is perfect for this. It holds a huge amount of coffee/tea, is comfortable to hold, and is easy to clean. It keeps beverages warm for a reasonable amount of time. However, given the quantity it holds, my tea always gets cold by mid-cup. This isn't a big deal as the mug is microwave safe. It's well balanced and sturdy and with the silicone base, not easily knocked over. The only down side of the mug is the lid. It's plastic with a silicone rim so it sits snug within the rim, but it's tippy and it lifts off easily. It helps keep the drink warm but that's about it. It certainly won't stay on if you knock over the mug. Not a big deal for me as I'm not using it while commuting but if you need a lid that won't ever come off, this is not the mug for you.

I am 85 years old with severe balance problems and have to use an upright walking frame and can't carry a cup so I bought an adjustable cup holder which clamps on to my frame then needed a decent size CHINA mug that is splash proof I found this one on Amazon and it fits my needs exactly, I can now get myself a cup of tea Independently. This mug is not really a "travel mug" it's too heavy, not really totally sealed, not double insulated but it hasn't got that usual horrible plastic/metallic taste that spoils your beverages. This is a really nice piece of china and well designed, I love it.
