The best black tea in existence
I learned about PG Tips in a Fish & Chips restaurant owned by British people. They serve PG Tips if you order iced tea. I loved it. It was the best tasting iced tea I had ever had. Decent mass produced black tea
Purchased for a British not English friend who drank only tea and not water. That brand was one of her favorites. In my opinion it's one of the better black teas. I've only drank this plain without sugar but after drinking it on numerous occasions think it's one of the better mass produced black teas. Smooth, medium strength in taste and caffeine.

Strong Tea Bags
These are very strong tea bags, and deliciious tea.

Changed for the worst
I have been drinking PG Tips tea daily for the last 10 years since chemo treatment made coffee taste gross to me. I loved that PG Tips were a strong flavored tea and the pyramid shape seemed to allow every bit of flavor to come out of the bag. When I ordered these I didn't realize they were no longer pyramid shaped because it didn't say it in the item name. I was confused by the change because PG Tips own claim was their tea bags were better because of the pyramid shape. Unfortunately that wasn't the worst part of the new bag design, because they also changed either the material of the bag or how it's sealed because I've had many times where I've gotten a mouthful of tea leaves because the bag broke (I mostly drink my tea from a travel mug so can't see that the bag has broken). Due to these changes I'm looking for a replacement of the original PG Tips and hopefully I'll find something.
