My husband lost his so had to order some cheap Dewalt batteries and these work just fine.

Save your money and buy dewalt batteries. I had 4 or 5 of these every one did the same thing. The wires inside the case come undone

Received yesterday, both charged as expected. I compared both brand new 3.0 Ah batteries to my very old OEM 2.0 Ah battery (Dewalt 20v Battery DCB203, 20V MAX Battery, 2.0Ah) Under a high current load, leaf blower, the new batteries initially outperformed the old battery (but only slightly). But the old OEM battery outlasted both the new batteries. Considering the price point being 50% less, I can give them a thumbs up. If they were at least as good as the 10+ year old DeWalt battery I would have given them 5 stars.

I've used 2 of these VANON 9.0Ah 20V batteries DAILY in an industrial capacity for the sub-assembly of cabinet panels. One of the batteries lasted approximately 1 year of daily use and last Monday, the second one finally died. I used it for 2 and 1/2 years! When I say that these were used in an industrial capacity, I mean that they were used daily and continuously by members of the staff here at a cabinet plant (we do one 10-hour shift per day). They were charged nightly. You can't argue with the value for money. I was really skeptical that these big batteries would deliver but I was wrong. Sure, one of them "only" lasted a year but even that blew my mind. The whole reason that I chose these big batteries was that I wanted something that would last through the 10-hour shift. These did. These fit and work just like any DeWalt 20V battery and work in impact drivers (that's what we mainly used them for) but also drills, reciprocating saws, etc. If you have a 20V DeWalt tool, then these batteries will work nicely. I can't say enough about the value you get out of these batteries. For residential use, you might get 10 or 15 years of use out of them for all I know. The way we used them was constantly draining and recharging them daily.

I ordered this in August. Used it once or twice. It quit working a couple days after the return date. So I guess I'm stuck with it unless Vanon reaches out to me!?

Update: I finally got my load and capacity tester in and put one of these batteries through an unscientific test with a moderate load to see what the actual capacity is. I started off with a fully charged battery that had been resting for 4 or 5 days and discharged at a constant current down to 16.5v which was my safety cutoff. The battery came in at 1402mAh aka 1.4Ah this was using a 4A draw till hitting 17.0V when I dropped it to 3A till it died. If I was a patient man and wanted to run this at a low discharge rate I suspect it would have lasted longer and likely ended up over 1.5mAh. This pack did not seem to like a high amp draw and the volts would plummet pretty quick but when I use this in my DeWalt 20V LED flashlight it will last 75-90 min on medium. I've been using the 20v DeWalt system of batteries for nearly 14 years and have always used the official batteries. The original 20V battery I got is still working with a Jan-2010 date stamp on it, and yes it gets used. The capacity is not the same of course but still functional. So when I ordered these replacement packs I was a little skeptical, not the normal reasons like over advertising the capacity. I generally take the advertised capacity and halve it. This way if it does better I'm pleased but usually it comes in +-10% of that I've found. The first thing I noticed about these 3.0Ah packs is they are identical in size to my 2.0Ah DeWalt packs and my 3.0Ah (non-pouch pack) is just larger. So understanding right off the bat these likely don't have some new technology DeWalts never seen and the physical Panasonic 18650 cells for one battery cost more than both of these. With all that out of the way, I needed some batteries for devices with less peak demands but still work with my 20V ecosystem. So that is why I gave these a shot and so far I'm pretty happy with them. Build quality is better than I expected, they charged fine in two different DeWalt chargers, there is a built in battery meter and snap solidly into my equipment. I've got a couple of DeWalt brand batteries over the years that don't fit as well as these do. Over the past several days I've given them a good usage cycle in my impact drill and a cordless soldering station I have. They seem to perform on par with my 2.0Ah packs and feel similar in life and day to day drill strength. I'm waiting on my load tester to arrive via the slow boat so when it's here I'll throw a load on these and one of my others to see what the actual capacity is.

PROS: Direct OEM replacement with tight fit, lighter than others, typical remaining power indicator, charges up fast. CONS: Arrive barely charged, have shorter power output than OEM 2A, discharges very fast on higher draw tools (less than 5 minutes on a leaf blower or grinder), good for flashlights, speakers and radios etc, but, when used on a high draw tool, its discharges quickly and tools stops, but, when remains power is checked, its still indicates it has 2-3 bars left, tool when again runs for a few seconds, then stops again...weird for lithium type cells (they usually provide full power output to the end, not just initially) very reminiscent of the old NiCad types that behaved this way...OK value and cheaper than OEM batteries, but, only good for slow and low draw tools.
