Works great!
Lost my old rosin and had to replace it— this works great! I like that it comes in a durable plastic container and not just the tinfoil to peel off.

The best rosin so far
The best rosin so far , at least for this season. I have many different rosins (kolstein, jade, carlsson ) and I have tried many others. Nyman is similar to Carlsson, but is softer, more effective and it sounds a bit more mellow. Kolstein is quite good also but a little bit more powdery. Jade is very hard and I never quite understood its qualities. The absolute worse I ever tried (and threw away after 2 days) is Pop''s , it's good for nothing.

Great rosin. Not as sticky as pops
Great rosin. Not as sticky as pops. However it also doesn't grab your string quite as strongly. I like it for solo playing and if I'm doing orchestral work I just have to apply it every time I rehearse or perform.

Works really welll!
I was hesitant on buying Pop's after seeing some reviews over there and I'm glad I was! This rosin is perfect for my bow. The foil can be tedious and slightly annoying to peel off at times but besides that, it was worked really well for me :)

rosin for base fiddle strings
I ordered this rosin for my great grand sons base fiddle strings. As far as i known it works like it is suppose to.

Harder than expected, decent
My only other frame of reference is Pop's and this is pretty hard and dry in comparison. My bow technique is pretty horrible but this seems to exacerbate the scratchiness of the tone when I play whereas Pop's did not. I'll keep using since others swear by it and practice, maybe I'll come around. It's not bad by any means, just not as easy to pull as Pop's, it really is showing my technique deficiencies.

Works extremely well
This is my daughter's favorite rosin in the winter, by far. (We live in NY, so seasons matter.)
