I am warming up to it.
I have already been using the Copper Chief pots and pans for about a year. I like them very much for the ease of cleaning. As for food sticking it is not as advertised. I found even using a few teaspoons of olive oil didn't work well at all. Frying pork chops, steaks and my favorite home fried potatoes for Sunday breakfast all stick while frying. Clean up is a lot easier than with my old non-stick pans but, sticking is sticking. As for the induction cooker I was pleasantly surprised. I have tried other induction cooker and they fell way short of working well. I have been using the CC induction cooker almost everyday and it is working great. As for it boiling water though, my electric stove top beats it my half the time. I tested it with the 11" casserole filled to half after 20min on high it still hadn't come to a boil. yes i had the lid on while heating.. It finally started to boil very slowly at 30min and reach a rolling boil at 35min. My stove top in the same pot took about 15 min to a very rapid boil. the induction never really got to a rapid boil and just remained at the rolling boil.frying foods seem to be what it is good for and starts frying within a min of start. hope this helps. Yes I would still recommend it.

WOW, Just WOW!
Saw it on TV, was skeptical...but gave it a try. WOW! We use it almost daily now. Heats up really fast< saves energy, can cook anything from enchiladas to soup, even French toast & fried chicken. Easy cleanup too. It comes with info on how to get $100 worth of Free grocery coupons. I was sure it was a SPAM site. Nope/ We signed on, in a week we had (hand clipped) coupons back in the US Mail. We used them all. Great! No SPAM!

Great cooking utensils, but needs some work!
Nice over all cooking utensils. The only problem I have is that it burns while frying initially, the garlic, onions and ginger. We use all the Copper Chef's products and are pleased with all of them. The frying pans also burn and the eggs are either over cooked or under cooked. The pan does look as if it is burning, leaving black on some parts of the pan. The black is some times hard to clean, but we will learn how to cook pretty soon!

The best in products
I have the complete set, plus I bought one for grandson, and he loves it. We also have the fry pans with lids. I simply love this product. Do not use metal on the product. I listen to Eric almost every day, because he is fast and good at what he does, I am 84 yrs, and I think he is so cute. If he sold me 3 sets, he just sold ice cubes to an Eskimo. I am just about to buy a set for my friend.

High capacity, very versatile, and beautiful as a serving piece!
I bought this specifically for its capacity. 7 quarts. That means I can both cook and serve soups, chili, pasta dishes, casseroles, etc. (the possibilities are endless) in a single pan. It's very attractive as a serving piece. The lid, strainer basket, and steamer insert make this a very versatile MUST HAVE in the kitchen! Plus an induction burner, as well? Even better! Frees up a burner for me when a lot of family/friends gather. For those concerned about scratches, two words for you... silicone utensils. For those concerned about sticking, the trick is to spread a very thin coat of high heat oil (peanut, sunflower, corn, palm, sesame, safflower) in the pan before each use. I do this with all my non-stick pans and have never had a problem. One caveat... the steamer insert legs are metal. I'm concerned they'll scratch the pan, and I wonder what Copper Chef will do if that happens, as they specifically warn to not use metal utensils on the pan but they provide only metal legs for the steamer insert.

Great extra burner!
I give this item 3 stars because I thought it would have the ability to slow cook. It does do a great job of cooking, but not slow cooking. Works great as an extra burner, but only works with pans that are suited for induction.

I should have paid attention.
I should have believed the other reviews. It worked great for 2 months. The pan was non stick, the induction cooktop worked great. I bought it to use in the RV. I used it for 2 months and everything was great. I then put it away and waited for comping season again. I used it for one month and the pan started having things stick. Now the cooktop does not control the temp. and even if I try to cook green beans at 200 degrees they burn and stick tight to the pan. I thought I had just got the temp wrong, so I wasted more green beans when I tried again. They also burned, and I noticed the water was boiling, and water shouldn't boil until it reaches 210. That shouldn't be possible unless the cooktop was set at 210. Mine was set on 180 degrees. The cook top doesn't maintain the set temp. and the pan is not non-stick. another strange thing is the steam rack and the fry basket are metal and left marks on the pan when I stored it.

Nice
This is one of the best buys of cooking gear we have made in a long time. It is everything their advertisement says it is.We use the pan and induction plate almost everyday. You can fry in it, bake in it or use it s a slow cooker. We just cooked an Jacques Pepin Chicken with cream sauce using the pan and plate which cooked this recipe to perfection. The best part is the clean up which amounts to rinse and wipe or put it in the dish washer.
