Transformers Masterpiece MP55 Nightbird Shadow Action Figure

I always liked the soon to be discontinued MP line of transformers and this redeco of Arcee into Nightbird is one of my favorites now. Enter The Nightbird was always one of the coolest episodes to me and this figure is the best version of the original idea so far.

Although I am not 100% sure but it really looks so legit. The only KO I know doesn’t come with an official box. This price is really good, all accessories and tutorials are complete.

What a beauty

If this is a knockoff, it does look very authentic. However, when I took the figure out of packaging, some flake-ish dust came out (could be plastic or paint, but I can't be sure), which didn't feel legit.

This figure has so little room to get basic things wrong. The transformation is finicky. Getting from car to robot is tedious, getting back into a car is utter frustration. The accessories don't hold right and overall is just a bad " Master Piece". All that being said I would have kept her because in robot mode and properly display she might have looked very nice, but Takara messed up and included two of the same faces. You might get lucky and love this figure. I really wish I did but given that a $150.00 figure was this bad to start with and don't even the correct accessories for the price I'll take my money thank-you very much.

The boxes are cool and all but the figure I got is either used or a ko. Had scratches, chipping all over, paint bubble, and finger prints that isn't mine. Ugh, I wanted to like it, but for the price tag it's a no for me. I want masterpiece quality for a masterpiece price.

The figure looks amazing in both robot and vehicle modes, but the backpack is too heavy for the figure and it’s too loose to hold up its weight. Honestly don’t buy even if its on sale.

My copy could not tab the robot chest in place at all. It wasn't even close. I had to cut a bunch of plastic off to make it fit. Overall it is a good figure, but if it cannot transform properly it's pretty useless. To be clear, you could tab in the neck to the body, or the chest plate to the body, but not both at the same time. I believe many copies have this issue but most people are not aware of the neck needing to be tabbed in for everything to look perfect.
