Kenwood KDC-X995 Car Stereo CD Receiver with Bluetooth, USB, HD Radio, Dual Zone

I bought this receiver to replace the factory unit in my truck. WOW! This stereo has everything you need for listening pleasure on the road. It was easy to install. The sound is second to none. I love it that it has its own built-in amp if you're not using an external one. The built-in HD tuner is crystal clear. The hands free phone is easy to use and works great by muting the radio when in use. The remote control is easy to use for direct input and making phone calls (if the phone number is not already stored in your own phone). The AUX and USB inputs make it easy to play the iPod or other music source directly through the unit, and the iTunes tagging makes it handy to save future purchases on the iPod. The entire unit is menu driven, which doesn't take long to figure out (Please download and print the detailed owner's manual from Kenwood). I also think Kenwood did an excellent job with the custom features in their setup menu, where you are able to select your vehicle size and configuration. including speaker sizes and location in order to obatain the ultimate stereo experience! Well done Kenwwood. I would strongly recommend this unit to anyone looking to upgrade their stereo to one of the best on the market.

Overall this is a pretty good CD player, but I expected more. No one could hear me on the mic via bluetooth after I adjusted several time and tried with different phones. The audio processing is very good, but after six months it will randomly "reboot", sometimes continually for up to ten or fifteen minutes. Sometimes the audio connection to my ipod is poor and scratchy and requires a reboot to fix. It does come with a number of processing features including a great equalizer and xover.

Turned out to be the best radio I have bought to date this is a highly reccomended head unit it works well with android and iphone GREAT DEAL AND SERVICE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!!!
