This wss my first time working with resin and I didn't fully realise how important getting the EXACT 1:1 ratios are. The first time I measured one of the cups but I had slightly more resin than hardener. Like, a tiny bit more. My letters didn't fully hardened and were more rubbery than anything else. Second time round, i used weighing scales and they properly hardened. I also put them in a warm room while they were curing as this also helps. Great kit if you're just starting out and want to experiment a bit before investing more money!

Bought the 2nd time.The resin kit is great, which has all the necessary tools for beginner. Inside has a simple instruction guide. Mold quality is good. Can easily remove from mold. I took it out from the mold 10hrs later so that I can easily screw in the key chain. Then continue to let it cure till its totally dry up.

The finished products come out of the silicone mold with ease without leaving any residue. My daughter has enjoyed making key rings for all of her finds. I recommend this kit for any person interested in doing resin crafts as the Alphabet Silicone mold is a must have in doing projects. I feel that the price point seems fair and worth all that you get in this kit. The only issue I have found it trying to clean up the plastic cups etc when using pigments - it seems as the remaining product is oily and hard to get out.
