Orbit 62045 Daybreak Programmable Hose Watering Timer

Very easy to use

Garbage. Out of the box, it doesn't work. Figure out how to install batteries (there are no instructions for this ANYWHERE), it still doesn't work. Turn dial to ON, it doesn't do anything. Turn dial to OFF, it doesn't do anything. There's a small strip of paper inside the package that says that an indicator light will turn on when you set the dial to a new position for three seconds -- that's ALL the instruction you get! This piece of trash JUST DOESN'T WORK, AT ALL. Ease of use? Negative stars. Value for money? Getting to a UPS Store to return this will cost me as much as this device cost; so, I lose $20 no matter what. Build quality? Honestly, feels like Lego blocks are better quality plastic. Durability is likely to be measured in minutes or maybe hours, not years! Functionality? There is ZERO functionality. Programming options? Who knows; this device can be attached to hoses, but I cannot make it function in any way. Too bad; I was really looking forward to monkeying around with the photovoltaic sensor to see if I could get it to "see" the sun at particular times of day to turn on (there is no clock function, just the timer function for how long it waters--simplicity I NEEDED).

Works great and easy to use.

Ready to use. There e not a lot of options, can only use one option at a time. But just to soak flower bed once a day for set time (1 hour for me), it works great.

Does exactly what it says it will. Two batteries installed - set it and forget it.

Did not work at all. Battery overheated right away. Was unable to return as a month had gone by before we attempted to use it.

Works perfectly price point

I’m using the timer for a month, for a lawn around 150 sqm . The timer is easy to install and has simple controls. It requires 3 AAA batteries.
