Great book to understand Scrum in broad spectrum
Pros:This is a great book and it is well organised and easy to understand. The book is laid out nicely so that each subject is tested with mini-quizzes before some broader questions at the end. I found it really useful.Suggestions to improve and clear the exam-• 7-8 pages Scrum guide is Bible for the PSM-I exam. Though book had covered everything in detail but inbulid short notes are always preferred. So, it would be good if that original Scrum guide could also be attached at start or end (whichever been preferred) along with short font which page had covered that point. (People could get that Scrum guide that from Scrum.org main website but why to make that extra pain).• Though book had many questions but sample atleast 3-4 full length test papers(solved) are missing. Practicing questions is second key to pass the exam.• Proper Tools Usage missing- Following above two points are enough to pass the exam but this point will help for practical implementation. I see the tools mentioned like velocity chart, burndown and burnup charts under JIRA dashboard, but accurate guided steps missing. Could have added a short Section of 7-8 pages as Appendix for tools actually guiding how to build them.Lastly Practice Practice Practice the Scrum guide + full length test back and forth till get above 85% in each.

A good but overpriced book to get introduced to the Scrum framework
This is a good introduction to the Scrum. It gives an overview of the framework, it's principles and usage and to a little extent also prepares for the PSM certification. The quality of content is good as it presents the information in a lucid and crisp manner. However, I felt that the content is inadequate especially for those who want to go beyond the basics and learn the nuances of the methodology.I also felt that it is overpriced when compared to content. The other problem is that it has several mistakes that I could easily find during my first reading.

This Book was Essential in Passing the PSM-I
On my first attempt at attaining the PSM-I certification, I failed, after reading the Scrum Guide and the "Definitive Guide to PSM-I". I found the questions asked in the exam did not correspond, in enough instances, to the SCRUM guide. However, the material in "The Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) Guide: Successfully practice Scrum with real-world projects and achieve your PSM I certification with confidence", covered scenarios that were posited in the PSM-I certification test. I think, if you want to pass the PSM-I, as I have, read the SCRUM guide, but supplement it with this book!

The book is not concise too much use of unnecessary grammar making it to complex for understanding
Good books are meant to be in simple English and straight to the point to ease understanding .
