Kuhn Rikon Tomato Knife, Red

We have another one of these knives and it is our favorite knife in the house. Cuts everything. Have been looking for a replacement for a long time. Finally found the same one and the soft peeler is a great addition.

I have lost my previous beautiful Rowoko Tomato Knife that I have had for about 35 years and cannot find another one anywhere. Been checking out Tomato Knives here at Amazon and finally settled on this set. This peeler is absolutely amazing. I've never peeled a tomato with a peeler before. I've only blanched them and pulled the skin off, which I would likely still do with a lot of tomatoes but, if I just need one or two, I will peel them with the peeler to save time. The knife is really cute with the tomatoes all over it. The knife is sharp and cuts well. The only con to this Tomato Knife is that it's not as wonderfully thin as my previous one, which made it a lovely cheese knife as well. I do wish the knife were thinner but, overall, this is a nice set and I am glad to have it.

Convenient to have the end of the knife core. The serrated knife easily slices tomatoes. Super cute design. I would highly recommend if you eat a lot of tomatoes.

Love the color and design- works great! Also works well for cleaning and butterflying shrimp. Gave three as gifts- ❤️

Knife slices nicely but that little peeler is the star. It peels thin skin with ease as well as thick skin like an eggplant. Careful though I cut myself and it wasn’t out of the package 2 minutes.

My father mentioned that he could not find his tomato knife which is very important to have in NJ in the summer since the state is known for its tomatoes many of which are grown in my parents yard. I thought the red would be easy for them to find. I read the reviews and warned him to be careful when he put it back in the sleeve. They like it very much.

Too expensive for a little knife!!

Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to place the knife in the sheath because the bottom of the sheath closure is very tight. This, however, might vary from knife to knife. I much preferred the sheaths they used to have as the knives slipped in much easier. I won't be purchasing any more of these knives because of the newly designed sheaths, but fortunately I have more than I need anyway of the previous sheath styles. BUT LOVE all the K-R knives themselves. They're fun and cut extremely well,
