I’ve done a number of mods from trigger buttons to back paddles. Making the front buttons clickly was the last mod to my controller. Excellent guides on YouTube for those who need them and results are excellent

Another great mod from eXtremeRate. I now have this with their back buttons, Clicky triggers/bumpers and interchangeable thumbsticks. This mod (as with all of the others) is simple to fit providing you take your time, follow the great tutorial vids on YouTube, and most importantly take care (if you don't you can quite easily break a component inside the controller or pull out a cable off of one of the boards etc). Don't let this put you off, if you take the time and have the patience these mods are definitely worth it.This particular mod I had an issue where the right d-pad would barely click down and sometimes get stuck. This was rectified by cutting the silicone 'nipples' that align with the left and right controls of the d-pad, and cutting spare silicone (from spare parts that come with the kit) to fill the voids in the left and right d-pad buttons (until they're flush). After doing this the mod works great. I'm not sure if this is an issue everyone would have, but no matter how much I tried to install the silicone that comes with the kit (that covers the back of the d-pad) I couldn't get the right d-pad button the work; which made me resort to my own modification.

the vita dpad is my favourite dpad ever made so when I saw this kit I was quite exited.when installed the kit does fell simular to the vitas face buttons which is good but when I installed mine the left dpad button wouldn't work because the plastic dpad piece wouldn't make contact with the switch on the mod kit.there's a review in German on the amazon page that says the same thing and they fixed it by filling the holes in the back of the dpad plastic piece and cutting the rubber inserts (the one that's included in the mod kit) nipples things off. After I did this it worked well until the switches on the mod kit fell apart/broke within a couple of hours of me using it.if the manufacturer ever makes a new version of this with new rubber inserts and using the same switches the vita dpad used I'll buy it without hesitation as I doubt I'll have the same problems

I have been searching for years for an easy solution for good microswitch buttons. With a bit of time and patience these feel unreal!

Yeah does what it says on the tin. Don’t bother with scuff or similar not worth it just buy this and the triggers well worth it

Now my d pad is mushy *and* noisy. +1 star because at least it works as a replacement for faulty buttons.
