This review will be edited time to time for updates! (UPDATE) Still a great silicone product for beginners! I made a second mold and made things in my first mold to compare them to their originals. I will be attaching another photo. Left is originals, right is copies from being in the mold(besides the cookies, I accidentally switched those.) I will upload a pic of my second mold as well! I am going to be switching to another molding product soon as I feel I want a tougher silicone but this was so fun to work with and such an inexpensive option for those who just want to make a few things on hand for back up pieces. My second mold's silicone was mixed more thoroughly than my first and cured much faster. The first mold took about 3 days to not be sticky because I didn't stir very well. make sure if you're using tape on the bottom when pouring and make sure you are taping very FLAT and fold the edges upward around your container because even with hot glue you can get leaks! 1st Impressions: LOVE! Very easy to work with, mixes easily and adding a little mica powder for some fun color was NO problem. I only had to wait 3-4 hours to take it out but I'd suggest you wait the entire 24. I think I may have ripped a teeny part on accident pulling it up out of impatience. I am attaching a photo of my mold. I needed extras of pieces I use for personal use. You can never have too many cabochons! I will come back and post pics of pieces made in the mold and update with how the mold did! Sorry the designs are so hard to see in the photo, the mica powder is pearlized. BY THE WAY: I had 1 TEENY bubble and I checked my piece to make sure it wasn't the issue but it may have been because it was slightly not flat in the area it bubbled. Nothing a quick glaze or dome can't fix. The silicone seems strong but I am still waiting to use it as it has only been 12 hours and I want to make sure I don't ruin it. If your mold is still sticky in ANY spots either you did not mix properly or you need to let it cure a LOT more.

Very nice! My first try with silicone. It was a learning curve and I made sure to watch a bunch of tutorials. The only thing that was disappointing was the “self degassing” part. Even slowing down the curing process didn’t help the bubbles too much even though I had mixed carefully. BUT, with a vacuum chamber this silicone turns very clear and it works well with UV resin. It has a great clarity for epoxy resin so you can monitor the progress of your work. It has a nice flexibility to help remove parts and it is sturdy when the part decides to fight back a bit.

Worked incredibly well. This is a platinum cure silicone and there are countless materials that will cause cure inhibition so be sure of the materials you are pouring this onto.

Every item that I’ve purchased from Let’s Resin has worked well for me. This is no exception. This silicone mold making product cures well, has no bubbles, is flexible, and has NO sticky residue.

I’ve used a few different platinum cure silicones, and this one worked just as good as the popular named brands for making a mold. I sculpt with sulfur free clay, and it cured with no issues. This silicone is pretty thin to start, so make sure you don’t have any tiny holes for it to seep out of, because it will. Because it’s so thin, the large air bubbles disappear rather quickly, though I did notice some micro bubbles in the final molds. It didn’t leave any imperfections in the mold, they were just visible. Im sure if you were less vigorous in mixing, they could be avoided. A trick I picked up along the way after a couple of molds failed to fully cure (with other brands) was to add a little dye to one of the parts before mixing. That way you can see when they are fully mixed. I would also recommend after pouring this and the silicone starts to set, leave it for a day at least. Don’t be tempted to Demold too quickly. That is the difference I have noticed with this brand and other less popular brands is that they tend to cure from the outside in and can seem fully cured to the initial touch but still be tacky against the clay I am molding. I let it cure for 48 hours (to be safe) and it demolds nicely and isn’t tacky. Hope this helps.
