Dahle975 replacement cutter head (suitable for Dahle paper cutter 500/507/508 - old models)

I was worried that it might be the wrong size replacement blade, but the picture of the item seemed close so I tried it. My cutter is Making Memories and they are out of business so I needed something. I've had my cutter for over 12 years and it was time for a new blade and this one works great. I almost think I need to buy another one for 10 years down the road.

After months of struggling with a cutter that would only manage a single sheet of paper it's great to have it effectively restored to new with a replacement bland. The blade is extremely easy to fit which is great.

I use this for cutting matte for my photography projects and really for any other paper cutting needs. Once you have one you wondered what you did without it. I worried at first if 18in would be wide enough. But I had a photo show recently and I used a 16 X 20 inch frame with a 10 X 15 inch matte opening as well as several panorama prints. It did a very nice job and I think the prints were large enough for my purposes. I also made several small prints that had 3 openings as small as 1 inch X 2.5 inches and they looked very professional.*** I made a mistake in alining the cutter wrong on the sharpening blade and ruined it. I was able to order a replacement without any problem from amazon.
