Work well with practice and a few caveats
Used this to try and slice some frozen home-cured, home-smoked bacon. Slices very well, works pretty well overall.* Smaller out of the box than I'd pictured. Not a deal breaker, as it probably fits anything the size of a medium roll roast on down. Solid enough construction, but doesn't wow me for its hefty build quality, or anything.* Meat needs to be frozen SOLID - but I knew that going in.* Slices come off as CURLS. In my case I just let them thaw, restacked them in freezer bag bundles and re-froze them* CUT SLOWLY and pull STRAIGHT DOWN - the blade is plenty sharp, but you CAN put enough sideways force on the blade to deflect it, and you CAN nick the blade on the meat holder if you do.* Something to use as thickness gauges to set the slicer gap would be VERY useful. Right now you kind of have to eyeball it; nothing ensures your thicknesses are a particular width, or that the blade is dialed in straight so that your slices are even.Overall? I think it's pretty good, especially for the money! Can this replace a $700 deli slicer? For home use, and using it correctly, probably. Never for large scale or commercial use.Would I slice up 50lbs of roast beef into lunch meat with it? Not all at once. A better approach might be to keep 1-2lb blocks of cooked frozen meat in the freezer ( vacuum sealer bags, ftw! ) and slice them one at a time, on demand, into a "package" of lunch meat kept in the fridge to eat over the week, rather than trying to slice large batches of meat all at once, and then freeze them as sliced meat.Overall, I'm happy with it.

Works great
Could be made to stick on the worktop better. Otherwise works great.

I am impressed with product quality and usefulness
My wife is a big fan of hotpots. As much as I like the convenience, buying sliced meat from supermarket can get pricey so we decided to buy a meat slicer ourselves not only to get better quality meat but also save money in the long run. There are several features I like about Befen slicer. The first impression I got after opening the box is that all machine parts are well built. This is a pleasant surprise considering the price as there are certainly other more expensive , well-known models in the market. The slicer has adequate weight, heavy enough to help keep the machine in place during slicing yet it does not break your arms to move it around the kitchen. Having two spare suction cups included in a plus. The slicer is up and running in about 10 minutes after I installed the few remaining parts.Be warned that the blade is really sharp but it does make slicing meat very easy. I feel in control during the slicing process. Cleaning is just as easy as all I need is soap and water.I defrosted the meat slightly before slicing to get uniformed meat slices in no time.I don't think I will buy sliced meat from store again. This slicer saves time and money.

Overall good product
Quality is good, I think it’s worth the price. Pretty easy to use if you freeze the meat to the right shape so that it stays stable on the platform. For someone like me who often buys meat slices from the store to make hotpot, I think this is a good investment. My only complain is that it’s a bit troublesome to clean - and be very careful with the knife!!! It’s really sharp and I unfortunately cut my finger while cleaning it. =(

Great FROZEN meat slicer!
I had been in the market looking for a frozen meat slicer for quite aome time. I bought electric meat slicers to cut raw meats but they just seemed to rip the meat apart. Even partially frozen , the electric meat slicer could get the thinness that i had wanted for hot pot or butter pot. I had seem a bunch of these manual ones but was a little skeptical on how well they would perform. Eventually i bit the bullet and tried this one and have i ever been happy with it! Its was a little bit getting used to at first but the more and more i use it, ive gotten better and thinner slices. Key factor: meat MUST be tottally frozen. If its a large roast you're cutting up, you might need to pop it back in the freezer partial way. Otherwise as youre cutting the meat does start to thaw and the bottom does get stuck a bit. Do be careful when initially using it. The edges of the stainless steel are a little sharp. Hopefully over time theyll dull out. Ive used it about 10 times now. There is a little bit of rust starting to form where the bolt that the guillotine is attached so i do recommend greasing that a bit after you're done and cleaned it. I did wash then wiped everything down so it was dry but didnt get area dry enough i guess. Another issue was when i got it initially, the suction cup feet were too flattened that they didnt stick to the countertop. It does come with 2 extra feet so i was able to replace 2 of them. I emailed the company for replacement parts and they sent them out. Unfortunately, the screws on the suction cups were the wrong size so you know what they did? They gave me a 99% coupon code to buy another one! Can't wait till it gets here! Thanks again Befen!
