Good for studio/composition
I had a serious doubt prior buying this model as I used some other high end and high cost headphones for my studio, but after trying this out, I must say this ATH M20X is truly best one for its price and happy to use for portable composition and mixing [bass is really good but for serious mixing, this much bass may cause confusion - just a thought]

Lasted me for about two years with mostly normal use, albeit as of right now it still technically works, but it's falling apart. Would buy again if I could afford it.

SOUNDS AMAZING
This can handle high gain sounds directly from AMP (Boss Katana 50 MKII) or Interface (Evo) for jamming/ recording purpose. The cable is long to be standing and playing around with a distance from the source. The sound quality and build quality is amazing. I would recommend this to any musician/ sound engineers or simply any audiophiles. 10/10

I have had to buy a headphone every year for the past 17 years... since i got these... 3 years ago... i bought none. they dont break. ever. and for the price they sound very good as well. even comfy too...

Great audio balance - lacking stereo image.
The MX20's are great in general.VERY - and I mean VERY - long audio cable. The 1/4 inch adapter included is a great thing even for a lower end headphone.Headphones fit great on my larger sized head. Earcups have some swivel/tilt to make sure it fits without digging into my head or earlobes. Headphone clamping pressure could be better, as it takes about two hours for the pressure to become noticeable and slightly uncomfortable.Great build quality. While the cups are made of pleather, they feel good on the ears.The audio quality itself is good - unfortunately, I feel though the lack of stereo depth causes the sound to feel flattened and muddy.
