Not a kid, but I actually use these to touch up my sunscreen on the go or right before I go outside. It holds up in the heat pretty well. I was hoping these were not fragranced, which is why I bought the kid one but I see now it says "vanilla". All's well, I've experienced no irritation, and it smells very nice. I use it on my lips, undereye and laugh lines mostly. I'm quite pale and it leaves the slightest trace of a cast, barely barely, but I actually think it's flattering given my tone, and you can massage it away. It's very very moisturizing, almost oily, and glides perfectly. Easy to apply because it's thin, spreadable but doesn't transfer - pretty ideal, especially given it's mineral-based. The formula is very usable and minimal.

This is simply the best lipscreen, I have ever used! It lasts all day, is safe to use, has a pleasant taste. When applied it leaves a slight white cast that quickly goes away. Use sparingly, because a little goes a long way. This is especially great for days at the beach or on the water on slopes. If you havent tried this company's natural sunscreen you should also try that. It is the only thing I will put on my kids.

Good lip balm that soothes and moisturizes the lip and prevents chapping. The added sun protection is a plus.

I can't tell you how much I love this. Just minerals and no questionable chemicals. I rub it on every work day. I am a mason so I need it and it lasts all day. Very happy.

My kids love these! They do leave a rather white appearance to the lips, but they offer great protection with minimal offensive taste so we will definitely be purchasing again.

i would have bought the 4 pack for$1 more than 3 pack but could not be sure of both being 10.5% zinc oxide. the heading for both types stated such but the pix of each tube only showed 10.5 % on the yellow tube. i asked a question but never heard back from the supplier which is only answer i can trust.

Although I am an adult, I often like to use skin care products advertised for children because they can be milder and good for sensitive skin. I decided to try Rubber Ducky Children's LipScreen (mineral, 10.5% zinc oxide) to take on a cruise to protect my lips from the hot sun. This product advertises protection from UVA/UVB/blue light and is broad spectrum. It is SPF 30.I tested it first on my inner elbow and it felt fine, so then I used it on my lips. It feels okay, it is not light but not too heavy either, so hopefully it will provide good protection. It is not sticky and is almost transparent - there is a very slight white hue but not enough to be a problem to me at all. It is advertised as "vanilla" but maybe they mean the color because I really don't smell much of anything.The lip balm is a standard size and comes with a tamper shield that you must twist to open. I peeled it off and it left a sticky residue that I had to remove with alcohol, so when I use the other ones (I got a 3-pack) I think I will leave the little label in place and solve that problem.And I must admit, I was attracted to this product because I like ducks, and the Rubber Ducky name and logo is cute.It claims to be water resistant for 80 minutes, but I have not used it in the sun nor water yet. After wearing it for a while, it seems to be staying in place so I'm sure it will do the trick. Try it on your next vacation!

The Rubber Ducky SPF 30 Natural Children's Mineral Lip Balm really doesn't have to just be used for kids. The SPF 30 is great for anyone that's going to be outdoors and need that sun protection on their lips. I like the light vanilla scent and I can still slightly smell it while I'm wearing it but it's not overpowering. I can easily forget that it's there unless I think about it. It does not leave a while residue on my lips like the ones I've tried in the past. It is a little heavy feeling when it's applied but not terrible and not a wet kind of sticky. More of a creamy feel. It lasts a long time and does a pretty good job moisturizing too.
