Hi all. With Electricity prices set to go up, l decided to invest in 7 of these plug in night lights. The light has a sensor so no need to unplug at night.According to the UK manufacturer it costs a mere 2 p per week. I’m very happy with this product and I have 2 in our hallway which emits enough light to be seen through the front doors frosted glass. Note by buying one at just under £5 it’s Best Buy a pack of 4 for under £15free delivery on Prime membership....

Reading the one star reviews it seems that people either think these lights are too dim or too bright (blindingly so?), so the products seem to be a bit inconsistent.For us they are way too dim and to be used effectively need to be right on top of the place requiring illumination, which is all well and good as long as you have a plug socket there as the product specifies not to be used with extension leads.Pretty poor product in our opinion and definitely going back for a refund as they're not fit for purpose.

These lights are great, auto on/auto off, we just leave them switched on, and there is enough daylight to switch off during the day. I guess it depends on how bright it is where you locate them. There might be an issue if they are not on a bright area and the sensor does not auto switch off during the day. For us they are perfect, and there is enough light at night to see the the stairs with one at the top and one at the botton of the stairs, so no fumbling for light switches during the night. So far as the motion detection goes, no idea if it works or not

I love the white light of these plugins ~ it's very clean and although not the brightest nightlights I've ever bought I prefer how these give a positive focus in negotiating a very dark room on the way to the bathroom!They just come across as something a step up from child nightlights of old, and look good as a highlight in dark corners when using lamps.Pleased I bought the pack of four. I will buy more.

I bought 2 of these "Integral LED, Plug in Walls with Dusk to Dawn Photocell" lights looking for a night light that would make it safe to get up in the middle of the night and walk without stepping on one of our cats. I also didn't want a light that would be so bright it would either stop us from sleeping or wake us up more than necessary. This light works well and looks stylish, but it is too bright for us, stopping us from sleeping.
