KROST 1/8" Trimmer Collet Cone Size,High Precision Woodworking Engraving Trimming Machine Tool

This is a cheap low quality stuff. Definitely not worth the money. I have a few pictures comparing it against the original Bosch collet.

first thing is if you need to buy a 1/4 inch collet this is the only seller supplying it, so you have to bear a cost increase from 50-70Rs to a freaking 500Rs thats 10x of what you would pay to an offline sellernext and the major thing is the quality.. I got the parcel day before yesterday, and i have been using it for some working and after a couple of minute, the bit comes off during operation. this reason behind it is the poorly designed collet.bit simply slips away from the router's head, and you know how much risky it is, when you are working with a 600w machine and all of a sudden a rotating blade comes off of that machine right in front of your hands and your face.i would recommend looking for another seller on amazon or simply look for offline suppliers at 1/10th of the rate

I have a Maktec MT 372 trim router which came with a 6mm Collet, so I could use only 6mm shank router bits with it.But 6mm shank router bits are very rare and hard to find.So I bought this quarter inch collet and this is a perfect fit on my Maktec MT372.Now I can use all my quarter inch router bits on my trim router.

i bought a laminate trimmer but it came with a 6mm collet. all the bits that were available to buy were 6.35mm chuck size. instead of buying a new trimmer i thought of trying a bigger collet. it fits perfectly and not i can use all my 6.35mm router bits in the same trimmer. good quality steel and perfect cut. this has made my life very easy now and totally happy with it.

Collets come in different configurations. Although, he image may look like one that is perfect for you but there are subtle variations in height and collar thickness. Also cost is high compared to local market. Buy at your own risk. I returned mine because of above reasons and later found a perfect match for my use in local market at less than half the price.

The outer diameter matches that of a 6mm collet so you could in theory swap any 6mm collet with this 6.35mm one to get better access to cheaper bits.A number of reviews here question the collets usability with the budget bosch router but it works perfectly well and is very simple to replace.Mine came with a black coat of paint which is perfectly fine , a bad cosmetic finish WILL NOT harm its usability maybe a bit overpriced but finding these parts elsewhere will be very difficult.

It meets my expectation but the price is little high for this piece . anyway it's ok I am happy to owned this piece since it's hard to find this collet.thanks.amazon and the seller.

Wrong discription of the product is mentioned in product detail... I have 6.35 mm router bits that's why i purchased this product...but this product is not compatible for 6.35 mm bits it is smaller than 6.35 mm...fake discription is given in the details... don't buy this fake product...
