Great quality. Above expectations.

Bought when on sale for $56. Been using it for a few weeks, thing is built like a tank. Only thing that remains to be seen is potential damage to doorframe paint from the top arms-the contact points are pretty narrow. Gonna put something under them as others have suggested. The wide grip handles are a bit far apart if you have a smaller frame. Other than that it’s great, extremely stable and doesn’t make noise. Far far better than the cheapie ones you used to see everywhere, those have destroyed many of my doorframes’ paint over the years.

Every household should have a pull-up bar for dead hangs and doing pull-ups. This one works great and fits in any standard door frame. Caution: put blue painters, tape over the black part that goes over the door casing. This will prevent black smudge marks on your nice painted wall.

Great product overall - very solid construction, easy to assemble and offer multiple pull-up positions. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the “resistance” bands. These are not true resistance bands by definition. The bands do not stretch at all, they are essentially just ropes with handles.

Super well made. I add a foot insole between each side that rests on the vertical part of the door frame and it prevents any scratches. Instructions say to not swing on it. Just do slow controlled movements or just hang by holding on with your hands (helps work on grip strength this way too) and it’s a nice stretch for the back.

i got this over the other ones because of the material they use and the way it looks. It is made out of thick metal and does not move or wiggle as much as other pull up bars i have used. It is very thick metal tubes that are easy to install and click together. By itself, it weighs 10 pounds which is very surprising in a good way. It works very well on my door frame and I am happy. The build quality explains the 60$ tag but i got it for 52$ which i think it is worth it. It is engineered well with padding for the side of the doors and comes with extra grips to attach to the handles. Comes in 3 piece set so it is really easy to assemble. The black color makes it look very premium and it also comes with loop for you to attach cables that allow for stretching or even chest flies. It is very worth it and the only caveat i would say would be the inability to do custom grip. i am not that strong so the wide grip is very hard as i like to do it SLIGHTLY more narrow but it is fine. There is a support bar in the way and I cant complain as it forces me to do wider grip pull ups!

Easy to assemble. Nice to have multiple grips. Kind of fun that you can use it on the ground, but no real reason for that. The straps it comes with are also entirely pointless. Now, for the flaw. The idea behind the design is there, but the execution failed. The hook bars that sit on your doorframe have very small backs. This combined with the resistance when using the bar, has caused damage to my wall. Let me say that I am 97 lbs on a heavy day. I have used pull-up bars before that go in the doorway, and the way this was designed is the error. It should not be pulling through my wall. My doorframe is safe because my house is 160yrs old and the kind of solid houses today wish they could be. I like the product, but I can't even put it on a new doorframe because the same thing will happen.

I was super skeptical getting a doorframe pull up bar. I've seen many fail videos online. But my friend purchased one and said it was solid... So I jumped in having my doubts. Wow, this thing is solid. It is super sturdy and does not wobble or move around. It's been a month later and I am seeing results already from doing 40 or so pullups in total every few days. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get in a quick work out at home. One thing I'll add is the part that goes onto the doorframe can scuff up your wall. You can add some bumper pads or in my case I just put some painters tape temporarily.

Defiantly blows the competition out of the water. Price is excellent and bonus straps included. A solid build piece of gym equipment. Two very big thumbs up.

My husband purchased this to replace one he had for years that was wearing down. The quality of this one is fantastic and he uses it everyday. It doesn’t mark the walls or door trim like the previous one so 5 stars from me too!!
