It has everything!
The media could not be loaded. Â Some of the descriptions for high and low numbers were super necessary they included all possibilities and all ranges. The book is overall very complete. It's wonderful if you just want a fundamental understanding of nursing lab values, but if you want more, I recommend getting a pathophysiology book.

This is necessary at home
Doctors sometimes prefer to reassure you that everything is fine rather than telling you that your levels are borderline low or high. This can provide you with a wealth of information on what to look for as well as forewarn you of impending problems. This book is a clear introduction to how to read your results and not have to call the doctor each time.

Definitely not worth it.
The media could not be loaded. Â I was looking for a reference book to assist with clinicals. I feel this is very helpful for someone on the street wanting to learn more about lab values but if you want to know more about what high and low value could indicate I would not recommend.

Not what was expected
This book is fantastic if you are not a medical provider, however if you are a medical provider pass on this one. The book itself first references that this can be a healthcare provider resource, then devolves into only referencing physical therapists, and then moves into explaining things as a patient.

Good information, good packet! Easy to read.
I think this was an older version I got for some reason.

Not worth it
Does not give the norms for the labs. It is worthless in clinic. Don't purchase

Written for physios, but useful for lay-persons.
"When a lab value is outside of ref range, the physio / physical therapist must carefully anticipate any potential physiological alterations."

LAB VALUES INTERPRETATION
This book will show you how to interpret and use the numbers we find in the tests, all those numbers that cannot be understood when doing simple blood tests and more. This manual explains laboratory values, the correct methods for obtaining laboratory samples, and much more. This book serves the purpose of guiding you in any interpretation of the laboratory value you work on, whether as a professional or not. I recommend the purchase.
