I was gifted this Charleston candle by someone years ago and I have continued to purchase it, it has a lovely scent and lasts a long time!

I found this when visiting Charleston but didn't have room in my carry-on to purchase. So thrilled I found it online! The fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering, which is why I was drawn to it. Usually scented candles and mists make me sneeze like crazy, but this is light enough that it doesn't bother me and doesn't smell artificial. The candle lasts a very long time - a few months! The only draw back is over time the rim cakes with soot and wiping with a damp cloth still doesn't remove it all.

I really love the scent of this candle, but it has a tendency to tunnel. It’s not a particularly wide candle so I don’t know why it didn’t melt all the way to the edges on the first burn; I burned it for several hours but it had already started tunneling when there was still about a centimeter of unmelted wax around the perimeter and I had to scrape it down with a paper clip. Usually that fixes the problem on subsequent burns but this candle still doesn’t melt all the way to the edges and I always have to scrape down the unmelted wax. Maybe I just got a bad candle but it’s disappointing, especially when the scent is so lovely.
