The 11900K can be used stand alone. The KF cannot. Intel even makes sure to tell you on the box that Descartes graphics (a dedicated graphics card) is required.

What is the difference between this and 11900K?

They both are i9 11th gen and the K means that they both are unlocked, but the F means that it does not have graphics on board as the i9-11900K does.
