This suit is complete GARBAGE, 30+ stings THROUGH the suit
I bought this new at Coastal Farm, looked great, used it once, got dozens of stings THROUGH the suit on my head, arms, legs. This only prevents honey bees from getting inside your clothing, it does not offer safe or effective protection from bee stings. Manufacturer said in writing “this suit is not sting proof.” This needs a warning label stating that. Instead it’s marketed as a safety suit against bee stings, I’ve reported this fraud to the consumer protection agency and coastal farm. An umbrella or clown suit would have offered similar “protection.”

Great Beginner Suit
Great suit. We're beginner bee keepers and this suit provides great protection. We have yet to get stung. It also laundered well. I did clean the hood with a damp cloth because the instructions say do not launder it. The hood can be a little floppy. So we wear a ball cap under it to hold it up more.

Good suit for the price.
New to beekeeping, I first bought the Natural Apiary brand suit in XXL which was a good deal at the time and had good reviews. The suit is very nice and fits my fiancee (6' 4") very well with lots of room. I have been wearing it, but it is big on me. It has nice plastic zippers which work well and the veil is removable for washing.NATURAL APIARY - Apiarist Beekeeping Suit - White - (All-in-One) - Fencing Veil - Total Protection for Professional & Beginner Beekeepers - LargeSince we both needed suits to do bees together, I wanted a suit of my own. (Had been wearing long pants, shirt, sun hat with a camping bug head net.) Noticing a very good price on a large, I bought this Harvest Lane Honey suit for me. I don't think I could find a sizing chart for it. Both suits have the same features as far as I can tell. The Unisex Harvest Honey pant legs are a bit narrower than I would like, but would be totally fine for someone else with a different shape. The top is loose and I have plenty of motion. The zippers are metal and zipping up at the neck seems to be a little harder in the very front. I've had to go find a mirror. The fabric seems lighter weight which may work out better here in Southern California than the Natural Apiary suit. If you are on a budget, buy the Harvest Lane Honey suit. If you want a nicer suit and are going to use it a lot, buy the Natural Apiary suit.
