Great Sperry sandals... as usual
My son took my 5 year old pair when he went off to Germany for a year. I had another newer pair, in a lighter leather, so no loss. But, then, knowing that he has a better fashion sense than I do, I figured that the darker tan really was the better color for my duds also (jeans and khakis).I couldn't find the same sandals that I had before but I found these. I could tell from the picture that the sole on these is not as thick, so I was worried about the feel and durability. I've only had them for a few months, and only got to wear them 5-10 times because it was already late Fall when I got them. But, they feel great, as all of my other Sperry sandals have. The size/fit is exactly the same as my old sandals (remember, I still have the light leather pair to compare against). Yes, the sole is thinner, but it feels just as sturdy so I think they'll last.At 58 yo, I don't go running or jogging in my sandals anymore. But, I'm in good enough shape that I get out and about every day. In the Spring, Summer and Fall I'm in shorts and sandals as much as possible. So they see many miles/year. These sandals are very comfortable and hold up to typical wear and tear very well.

You won't regret ordering these!
This is the second pair that I've ordered and I really love them. I still wear the first pair here in Florida for working on my boat; e.g., paints and fiberglass, et al. Wonderful fit and they look great. No porous soles to gather up dirt and the like to track back into the house - just a bit of a wavered bottom that actually grips quite well when I'm on my boat. You will love these. Pricey? I don't really think so considering the quality. I'll buy a third pair if I live that long. If you wear a 10 1/2 - order a 10 1/2. They're pretty much right on with their sizing. You will have a little more toe edge; but once they wear in a bit - you'll see the strap stretch just a bit and your foot will come up closer to the front of the sandal. I know this is lengthy, but I really do love these sandals/flops.

Bought for my Honeymoon vacation and Sperry delivered a great fit.
Just arrived yesterday and I tried them on. Great fit considering they didn't come in 1/2 sizes from the seller. So, naturally they don't fit just right but fit as expected. Overall, I am impressed with these sandals, Sperry had a drop in quality for a little while since they became so popular as a boat shoe and they suffered for a bit. I think they came back to the roots of quality shoes and sandals. The only loss in star is the presentation. Normally, presentation does not deserve a drop in stars but when I purchase sandals for $60 I kinda expect something a little more than the same thing target does for their $5 pair. Overall, great stuff and I will update the review after my vacation for how they fair walking all day in them.

A well-made sandal
These sandals are a bit tight, but I already expected they would need to stretched out some. They also stick out a bit past my toes, more so than other sandals I own. I do have very short toes, so no real issue there. They offer a slight arch support so, while its more than a flat thong, I wouldn't recommend them for someone that absolutely needs good support there. The hard sole will take a little getting used to. My most recent thongs were ultra cushy and pliable. Part of the reason I bought these was to try a more durable sandal. That, and that my other sandals would soak up water like a sponge.

Great sandals, but made-in-China
Made-in-China sandals. And they fit a size small, so if you have a size 9 feet, order a size 10. But great sandals. I owned a pair of Santa Cruz for years. These have a nice rolling effect due to the unique rigged outsole.

A nice middle ground would be good
4 stars instead of 5 for two main reasons. 1: Tight fit at first but stretches out and becomes too loose. A nice middle ground would be good.2: The placement of the toe strap that goes next to big toe is to far back. My heel is barely on the sole and my toes have 3/4"-1" exposed! Makes no sense. Move it up to the front so my foot is evenly distributed on the shoe. If I ordered a size bigger it'd either help or make the front stick out more.Aside from that I like them. I will most likely order another pair again next summer.

The perfect flip flop!
Living in Florida sort of makes you a flip-flop connoisseur by default. My teenage son will ONLY wear Sperrys! He outgrew his last pair after about 3 years (I bought them really big) and they're still in great shape, even after regular use. They are very comfortable, well-made, and virtually indestructible. I tried a less expensive alternative, and, well, a bargain's not a bargain if he refuses to wear them ;). You definitely get what you pay for with the great comfort and high quality of these shoes. I would say that the footbed runs *slightly* narrow, which works well for us but is something to consider if you have a wider foot.

Feels small
Ordered same 9M as my last pair. As soon as put them I had to double the box and the label on the shoe. Very light fit, almost like they sent a womanโs. I measured around and was 3/4โ shorter and 1/4โ narrower in overal length. All the other measurements seemed the same. Debating to keep and hope they stretch out or return for a different size..
