A REALLY nice case
When I ride (ATV) I take a Go Pro, two Garmin Montana 600 GPSs, a Nikon AW-120 rugged camera, spare batteries for all of those and chargers. The first case I had for those was rubbish. The sides bent under minimal pressure because it was thin plastic. I did not want to repeat that with this case. I wanted a case to carry just my camera with the lens I use for general purpose, rugged and waterproof because it's going fishing with me. I am really pleased with the outcome. First, the case is MUCH nicer than I expected. It is a lot sturdier and much better made than I expected. It does have an "o" ring seal around the opening so it should be waterproof. It also has a pressure relief valve. And the pick-'n-pull foam is sturdy, not thin cheap crap. My method of putting the camera on the foam and drawing an outline with a yellow highlighter worked pretty well. As you can see from the photo without the camera I left some foam on the bottom level to add support on the underside. I left some extra space where the lens attaches to the body so I can get my hand/fingers around the lens to lift the camera out. And in the last photo you'll see I added the two spare batteries. Again, I am really pleased with the case and would highly recommend it. I think it is very good value for money. If I decide to build a bigger case to carry additional camera equipment, I will definitely get the big brother to this one.

Awesome case, but interior dimensions too small for me
I'm bummed because the only thing wrong with this case was that the interior dimensions turned out to be too small for my camera and lenses to fit. I've attached photos of the actual interior measurements so you don't make the same mistake. So, sadly, I have to send it back and keep shopping. Otherwise, this case is awesome--built like a tank and is an incredible value for the price (especially with Black Friday pricing). I'm confident you could drop it off a 2-story building and your gear would be fine. I just needed it to be about 2-3 inches bigger on one inside dimension.

Perfect hard case for Rokinon Cine-AF / Samyang Cine-AF set of four
Others have written (positively) about the general features of this case and I concur with those conclusions. But I wanted to leave this review for a specific use - holding a set of the Rokinon/Samyang Cine-AF lenses launched in 2023. This case is as close to perfect as you can get for this purpose - and at a really great price. I ordered this case the same day I ordered my new set of Rokinon Cine-AF lenses. I had been looking for a hard case that would fit the set well (not too big, but still enough padding.) The measurements on the product description indicated this would fit the bill. The lenses and the case arrived the same day and after (carefully) pulling the pick-foam from the right spots, it became clear the case was exactly what I needed. The fit is snug, but snug is safe. There's even room for a fifth lens when the 20mm comes out. The latches are tight, but I suspect they'll loosen up some over time.

It's not a Pelican but is is really close
Really good stout case, not the easiest foam to modify but just make sure your blade is sharp and you shouldn't have any trouble making spaces for your items. Foam waffle weave glued to the lid and comes in two layers of pick foam on this model each about 2.5" thick plus there is a solid layer of foam under these about 1" so there is a lot of padding available. Very secure once you close the latches and lock them down, should protect things well. All that being said just like any of these small cases/safes even if pad locked or securely closed, if you want to open them and don't care about the case, a small 3lb sledge will probably crack any of them open without too much effort. Just be aware of what purpose it is serving. Was bought to organize and protect some electronics. Great all around case and highly recommend it.

Great Case with One Flaw
Good size, very solid, well-built case with a secure but easy-to-use locking mechanism. The dual-layer pick-apart foam padding works well. Gear transported in this case is well-protected. My only gripe, and it's turning to be a big one, is that the case doesn't sit evenly on its long edge (with the handle facing up, like a briefcase would). The bottom isn't balanced and as a result the case leans badly to one side, nearly falling over. Seems like a major design flaw. Other cases in the same size and class by other manufacturers sit evenly and solidly on a level surface like a table or the floor. Can't imagine what Amazon was thinking on this one.

Fits a Sony 6500-24/105 and added zoom
If you have ever had a Pelican Case, you know how secure a box can be. Positive latching and tight fits make you believe that you could drop one of these multiple times, or even submerge it, and never have an issue. While I have never tried putting it under water, cases like this are great for traveling and toting. The amazon case, is seemingly made with the same specifications in mind. All the features of a Pelican Case are present at a lower cost. For this current case, I was able to configure the foam to hold a Sony a6500 with a 24-105 lens attached, along with the 70-300 zoom to the side. There is still room for extra batteries and a short strap. While this does not replace my soft case, it is great for putting in luggage for a bit extra protection or in the back seat of a car while traveling. Great and durable protection, just the right size for what I normally need with me.

Every bit as good as a Pelican, but the fitting a padlock to the case is more difficult than it should be..
Update 11/30/17. Dropped the the rating to 3 stars due to the royal PIA getting a lock to fit on the case has turned out to be. The lock holes are too close to the side wall of the latch and make it very hard to get the lock body to fit. The case itself is great, but since I need to lock this quickly and easily for airline travel, it has become a hassle to use. This is a great hard sided travel case which I will be using for transporting my firearms when traveling. Its every bit as strong as a Pelican. Not sure why others have indicated it is not. I bought the small size and it easily fits a full size pistol (CZ 75) along with mags and other items depending on how you pack the case. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is one problem. The holes used to attach a padlock are very small and too close to the case locking mechanism. This makes it very difficult to easily attach and lock using padlocks. The holes really need to be moved back a bit from the case lock. It took some time to find a lock that will work, but I have found these Master Locks to fit (with some wrangling) https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-131Q-Weatherproof-Padlock/dp/B00004Y8D4/ref=sr_1_4?s=hardware&ie=UTF8&qid=1509714886&sr=1-4&keywords=master+locks Make sure you are using a 1/4" / 6mm diameter shank. Anything larger will not fit the holes unless you drill them out a bit. Due to the proximity of the locking holes to the case lock, locks differing in size to the Master Locks I linked too, the body of other padlocks may be too large to allow them to lock. This small but very important design detail is a big deal and keeps it from getting 5 stars. There are similar sized and priced Pelican cases (they are a bit smaller), that may not have the issue with fitting padlocks. For the price, the quality and size of this case cannot be beat. Update 11/6/17: For those of you that have a Harbor Freight nearby, you can buy almost exactly the same case with better padlock mounts for $29. If you have a HB coupon, you can get it for less. Just happened to see the HB cases over the weekend.

As Better as a Pelican Case for MUCH Cheaper!
Being retired military, I have used dozens of Pelican-brand hand cases (and many no-name brands). It's hard to beat the absolutely indestructibility of a true Pelican case. However, this case comes very close and at nearly half the cost. No, I did not expose this case to the rigors I put my Pelican's as replacing them would be on my dime, not my rich Uncle's! If you need hard-case storage, I highly recommend checking this out - I doubt you will regret the decision.
