I bought this printer to replace an older HP color laser printer that was just a printer and not an all-in-one like this new printer. Any time I wanted to print from my iPad with old printer, the printer had to be rebooted every time for it to be found despite assigning a static IP address to it. I don’t have that problem with the new printer. It was easy to set up and assign a static IP address. I have used both the copy mode and print modes and it works great. It is fast and quick to respond. Should warn you that it does not come with installation software on a disk. To install the software needed to run the printer, you need to go online for that. Also depending on the computer system and operating system you have there are two different types of downloads. On my Windows 11 computer it allowed me to download the full software for the printer. On my iPad Pro and MacBook Air I could not download the software, I had to download and use an app called HP Smart. You can connect to your printer through the app. I don’t recommend printing directly from the app because text or graphics appear out of nowhere on the printed copy that are not in document you are viewing, this is especially true if you are printing online from a webpage. I recommend printing from within whatever software you are using to view your documents, i.e. Word, Excel, directly from your web browser, then you won’t run into the problem of mysterious characters showing up on your printed copy. This is a pretty good printer and I am happy with it.

I bought this one because of its multifunctionality. It is quite easy to set it up, which is basically pluging and then using. The prints are great and clear, and the copy function is wonderful. I would recommend this printer as I am happy with it.

We spent close to $800. for this printer and it did not even last 1 year! The screen is just blank and will not print!!!

I had a Dell multifunction color laser, and it was awful. I dealt with it for years. The network card would sleep and lose all dhcp configuration. Long story short, getting this was a long time coming and I love the features like printing from my phone, remotely via email, and it wakes up everytime without fail

I just got the printer. It prints really well, setup was fairly easy out the box. It is a little louder than most laser printers I have worked with though.

We have two of these printers in our home and both of them are down at the moment. This will be the second call to the Geek Squad for help. Each cassette is $100 and each call to the Geek Squad is $99. Very disappointed.

Worked fine for 6 months connected by USB, then HP told me it will only work if connected by wifi but unfortunately is not compatible with my internet provider. They wont warranty it so the only way to make a printer work they say, is by changing my internet provider, Spectrum. This is completely out of control and follows the trend of bad products sold by this company. Never again with HP!

The unit seems to function according to it’s design. I have not used all of it’s features at this time because there was no owners manual supplied with the printer. One would think, that as much as it cost they could at least supply an owners manual. (Example: a printed paper, pamphlet, booklet that one can hold in one’s hand and read. Some pictures would be nice also.)
