Everest Small Backpack, Navy, One Size

I purchased this backpack for my 5 year old daughter for her first trip on an airplane. I wanted something bright in case and easy to pick out just in case we get separated for some reason in the airport. This backpack certainly fits the bill! The orange is easily distinguishable but not obnoxious. Think burnt Clemson orange? It certainly seems durable, the straps are decently padded, and I really like the covers over the zippers, which slide easily. This backpack is a perfect size for my daughter, as it fits her tablet, headphones, a book and doll with ease in the main compartment. I could easily fit more if needed, but this would NOT fit a standard folder for school. The front pocket is deep and will be great for holding her snacks on the flight. Only wish I have is that this backpack would be even more perfect if it had a cup holder on the side. However, as I knew that it didn't have one when I purchased it, that doesn't take away any stars in my book. I would definitely suggest this as an everyday or special occasion backpack for young kids!

I was in need of a new backpack because the delivery person ran off with my old backpack which was hanging in my garage. Sad news there, but the good news is this Everest backpack is on the smaller side which I like for just a few things like my camera, a book and a water bottle. Although it fits around my back I just use it by the handle when I need it. It's a nice red color, the zippers run nicely and it doesn't have a pocket for a water bottle which is what I want. Just the basics works well for me. Good price, made well and good study material. Highly recommended. I like this brand a great deal.

This little backpack is exactly what I wanted for my 3.5 year old. My son started pre-k at the end of the last school year and all we could find locally were regular sized kids backpacks, which were far too big for him to carry. The color of this backpack is vibrant and the material does not feel like it'll rip easily. It's big enough to fit a standard sized folder or sheets of paper without bending. I usually put an outfit in there along with a few pull-ups, his water bottle, and his school folder. There isn't room for much more than that. I used a mini-iron to apply a 5" custom iron on patch, which doesn't get as hot as a traditional iron. I didn't have any issues with the plastic liner melting like others have, but with the lower heat of the mini iron the adhesive really didn't want to permanently stick to the material of the backpack. I had to sew the patch on there to get it secure. Based on my experience and others, that might be the best way to go if you're planning on customizing. It's very lightweight and it would also be great for adults to use on a short overnight trip or a day out with the kids when you don't want to tote around a huge diaper bag and purse. I would definitely buy one of these again.

I’m a pocket-size man (5’2”) and finding a backpack that doesn’t look ridiculous on me has been a years long struggle. I just wanted a normal looking backpack that didn’t make me look like a 9 year old on his way to school. This bag fits the bill perfectly — it doesn’t look childish and it doesn’t look like a purse. The material does look a bit cheap (has a little shine to it) but the bag looks solidly built. I’m taking off one star because the zippers, as other reviewers have mentioned, are not great. They’re not terrible, but they feel a bit flimsy and I have a feeling I’ll need to replace them sooner than I’d like. Nevertheless, the bag is fine, and it’s surprisingly roomy. Here’s what I was able to fit in this bag, with room to spare: - 10.5” iPad Pro in protective sleeve - Packable windbreaker - Pouch with cables, chargers, etc. - 20,000 mAh power bank - Glasses case - Moist wipes - Pill box - Chapstick - Tissues - Hand towel - Travel size toothbrush and deodorant - Comb - Hand sanitizer - Bluetooth earbuds And like I said, there’s room to spare. I could easily fit my gloves and hat or my Nintendo Switch in it too. This thing is way roomier than it looks. Do keep in mind though that it’s DEFINITELY a very small bag and if you’re of average height it’ll probably look weird on you, but if you’re short like me it’s the perfect size.

Nice size, I think this will be perfect for taking on hikes.

I'm an adult and I use this on walks and hikes to carry water, a rain jacket, and a few other items. I've been using it for 4 years and it has held up surprisingly well for something so inexpensive. I definitely recommend this.

Got this for light use by my 5 year old. The size is perfect, as he's a small kid, and he loves the aqua color. There's enough room for a water bottle, snacks, a notebook, a toy stuffed animal and whatever little treasures a kindergartner might want to haul around for fun. The straps are densely padded and could be lengthened for an adult to comfortably carry it. It's basic, no frills, no fuss, as expected. He homeschools so this is for our weekly co-op days and anytime he needs to carry things around on his own. He would need something larger and more durable if he was using it heavily 5 days a week, but for our purposes it's great. The negative is that the top seam by the zipper came loose even before we had a chance to use the bag! It's open about 2 inches, with loose stitches on either side, making it about three inches that I'll have to use a needle and thread to repair. :-(

Great quality for such a little price! I wasn’t expecting anything this good. It has plenty of room, looks great, and is made so well! It can be used for lots of different activities. I’ll be buying more of these.
